Lily looked at Anna with a mixture of pity and resolution. "Because you deserve higher than this," she answered softly, however firmly. "I've stated you prolonged sufficient to see that you're no longer the character they may be pronouncing you are."
Anna sank onto a small couch, burying her face in her arms. "But everyone hates me, Lily. I can sense it. I can pay attention to it."
Lily sat beside her, setting a comforting hand on her shoulder. "People are terrified of what they don't apprehend. They've heard matters, they listen to them without thinking. But not everyone is in opposition to you. There are nonetheless folks that see the actual you."
Anna seemed up, her eyes pink and puffy. "But what's the element if the whole pack despises me? Even Nathan," She choked on his call, was no longer capable of preserving.
