Chapter 303 - 302 Spike!

Caesar possessed an incredible Devil Fruit, yet he couldn't even defeat a single Shichibukai.

Compared to Queen, another scientist, his combat skills were even worse.

But that didn't matter Lynch never expected scientists to be fighter.

"Ahhh! Keep it away! Get that thing away from me!"

Caesar, who was three meters tall, shrank back in fear at the sight of the tiny kitten walking behind Lynch.

"This cat is an insult to science! Its very existence defies everything we know about the natural world!"

Whatever had happened to him, it had left him traumatized.

He screamed like a terrified child, his voice cracking with sheer horror.

Lynch raised an eyebrow, glancing down at Tom, who sat there looking as innocent as ever. With a gentle pat on the kitten's head, he gestured for him to leave.

Only when Tom was gone did Caesar finally start to calm down.

With shaking hands, he grabbed the cup of hot water from the table and took several deep gulps, trying to steady himself.

Who knew what nightmare he had gone through?

That cat simply wasn't natural!

At first, Caesar had confidently used his poison gas to kill Tom instantly.

Yet, within three seconds, the supposedly dead cat, his face still purple from the toxin stood right back up, perfectly fine.

From now on, even my own gas is useless against it.

Damn it! How does something go from choking to death to completely ignoring poison gas in just three seconds? What kind of insane evolutionary speed is this?!

Desperate, Caesar drained all the oxygen from the air, suffocating Tom to death.

Yet, within a minute, the cat adapted surviving in a complete vacuum as if it were nothing.

Locked inside an iron cage? Tom simply flattened himself as thin as a noodle and slipped right through the bars.

With no other choice, Caesar abandoned his scientific pride and resorted to brute force, chopping Tom into pieces with a knife.

Guess what?

The cat came back. Again.

Before encountering Tom, Caesar had been a firm atheist. He believed everything Devil Fruits included could be explained by science.

That's why he had created artificial Devil Fruits in the first place.

But Tom? Tom was something else entirely.

A creature straight out of divine creation, utterly defying scientific reason.

How did he grab his own tail and lift himself off the ground?!

Caesar's decades of scientific study crumbled before his eyes.

Fire reduced him to ashes, poison coursed through his veins, his body was shattered into hundreds of pieces yet none of it mattered.

Tom Cat simply refused to die.

From that moment on, Caesar completely broke down.

His life's research, everything he had ever believed in, felt like a cruel joke in the presence of Tom Cat.

That wasn't a cat—it was a demon wrapped in fur, the ultimate enemy of science!

"Caesar…"

Before Lynch could finish speaking, Caesar threw himself at his leg, clutching it desperately.

"Please! I'll do anything—just don't let me see that cat again!"

Lynch smirked. "Work hard, and I'll do my best to keep that cat from bothering you."

He had prepared a long speech to persuade Caesar, but it turned out to be unnecessary.

Brave cat, outstanding performance—deserves an extra drumstick tonight.

Stepping out of the cabin, Lynch opened the system interface. The mission panel displayed a clear message:

[Mission completed. Reward available for collection.]

"System, claim Spike."

[Ding! Congratulations, Host.]

[Task rewards are being distributed…]

At that very moment, somewhere in the world of Tom and Jerry—

Ever since Jerry disappeared, his eldest cousin had searched every nearby neighborhood but found no trace of him.

Even with the help of Little Tuffy, the demolition expert, the second cousin, a magician, and their uncle, the musician, their efforts were in vain.

Finally, they sought out Jerry's eldest cousin the legendary Fairy Mouse who revealed the shocking truth: Jerry was no longer in their world.

Not dead, but taken away by a powerful force.

From that day on, the eldest cousin trained relentlessly, constantly sparring with Spike, determined to one day break through dimensions and bring Jerry back.

"Just wait, Jerry! One day, I'll punch through the void and rescue you!" he vowed to the sky, clenching his fists.

But for Spike, this was a nightmare.

Though he was strong enough to handle Tom and Jerry, he was no match for the eldest cousin—a living legend.

Every day, he was forced into brutal training sessions, leaving him battered and bruised, his face swollen beyond recognition.

Lying in his doghouse with a pair of panda-like black eyes, Spike gazed at the moon, his voice filled with desperation.

"Please… great moon… save me… I can't take another day in this house!"

Just the thought of another beating brought tears to his eyes.

At that moment, a sudden voice echoed in Spike's mind.

[Ding! A strong will to escape has been detected. Triggering an option…]

[Do you wish to go to another world? 1. Yes. 2. Very willing.]

"!!!"

Spike's eyes widened in shock.

Was he hallucinating? Had the constant beatings finally messed with his head?

[Ding! Please make your choice quickly.]

Out of nowhere, a parchment appeared before him.

It read:

[1. I voluntarily leave this world and become Lord Lynch's dog.]

[You possess the world's luck and, due to the absence of Tom and Jerry, you may take one additional creature with you as compensation.]

[If you accept, sign your name below.]

'This isn't a dream!'

Spike trembled. Without hesitation, his dog hand grabbed a pen and scribbled his name on the contract.

There was no way he could survive another day in this nightmare.

And since he could bring someone along…

Of course, he'd choose his dearest son.

The parchment crumbled into ashes and vanished into the air. At that moment, a black hole tore open the sky, pulling Spike inside.

Along with him, his son, Tyke, was also sucked in.

Hearing the commotion, the eldest cousin rushed outside just in time to witness the scene.

"That black hole again!" His eyes widened.

"The same one that took Jerry away last time!"

He clenched his fists, determination burning in his eyes.

"Jerry! Spike! Just wait! I'll find a way to bring you back!"

Scene Transition

Lynch stared at the two French bulldogs that had appeared before him—one large and fierce, the other small and adorable. He fell into deep thought.

Gray-white fur, red collars… they were unmistakable.

They looked exactly like the Spike he remembered from Tom and Jerry.

Compared to Tom and Jerry, Spike's upper limit might not be as high. But still, he was a character who could lift Newton's coffin at will.

In slapstick worlds, the laws of reality were mere suggestions.

The most important thing was that Lynch's three Admirals were finally assembled!

Tom, Jerry, Spike!

Nine Tails•Tom vs. Akainu

Uchiha•Madara•Spike vs. Kizaru

Six Paths•Jerry vs. Aokiji

Just picturing it made the corners of Lynch's mouth curl up unconsciously.

"System, price is no issue. Can I buy more templates of these creatures in the system mall?"

Unfortunately, the system is a dead thing and does not possess intelligence, so it cannot answer Lynch's question.
