1 Month Later...
Kenzo stood in front of staircase, crossing his arms across his chest. "I am not saying it again, Kodak. You need to go back to school. We need to keep your mind strong, and you haven't talked to anyone from your school in months. Don't you think your friends are worried about you?"
Kodak sighed a breath of defeat upon hearing his uncle's words. "Fine, but just know if I have the chance I will drop out of that shitty high school. I just wanna train more, I only have 9 months left till the exam."
Kenzo then nods his head. "Noted, but if it's a real problem just talk to me." He then placed his hand on Kodak's shoulder. "Just be careful, and aware."
Kenzo's face then frowned as Kodak walked out the door, wearing his school's uniform and a backpack strapped on him.
Buzzing then erupts from Kenzo's phone, causing him to reel it from his left pocket.
Someone was calling him.
"What do you have for me, Akira?" He answers while shutting the front door of his house. He then peeks through the blinds of his windows, before instantly shutting them.
"It's about the murders going around town."
His caller replied swiftly. "My sister did some digging into the murders that have been going around the last month. There was no connection based on the person that was slaughtered, nor the pattern of when the victims were killed."
Kenzo's eyes then frowned. "Then what?"
"The murders are random," Akira responded. "there is no real meaning, nor message behind them. But one thing my sister found out about was that the victim was either drained of blood, limbs seemed to be blown off by some type of blood manipulation technique."
"Any other people involved, cause this just sounds like one messed up son of a bitch." Kenzo said as a faint chuckle followed after.
Akira shook his head behind the call. "No, there were at least two people. Cause when ever someone was found murdered, the crime scene found a smoke-like substance that hardened and materialized upon physical contact. There was also a message that reads: 'We are lurking in Nagano, follow me.' And that's where the clues and evidence ends, Kenzo."
"Thank you again Akira, tell Kohaku to keep an eye on Kodak. Get Ashiro involved if needed."
Akira nods his head. "Will do, Kawanari sir."

Kodak walks down the street by his lonesome self. His footsteps echo down the neighborhood as he draws near the school's front yard. Gazes from other students look at him. Some are curious, and intrigued by him. Others look at him with hatred, the same ones that stood around Azar.
Footsteps then trace behind Kodak. His senses called to him, almost screaming. But as Kodak turned he was met with a lovely site. Fumiko Haruka.
"Kodak?" She said as her beautiful purple eyes stared at him intimately.
His body froze up upon seeing her black and purple hair. Her pretty smile, and the accessories that she still wore on her body that he made for her.
Kodak's eyes look Fumiko, gazing at her with a soft look of love. But also a bit of nostalgia that washed over him in that very moment.
"I missed her," he thought to himself. "I missed her hugs, gifts, presence, and even being with her. I need to explain why I was so distant. I need to repair the wounds that I indirectly caused!"
Kodak then opened his mouth to speak. "Fumiko, I-" But as he spoke Fumiko threw herself into his arms, hugging and nuzzling into his chest.
He could then feel her shaking, and her tears began to drip onto his uniform. "How could you leave for that long!?" Fumiko said while looking up--tears filling her eyes in more profusely. "I was so alone, and scared that you left for good!"
Kodak wanted to say something, but in his mind the thing he said was, "I'm sorry for shutting everyone out. I was seeking for further strength. The strength to protect others. The strength to protect you, Fumiko."
[Skill: Combat Sensory Activated Cautiously!]
"GET BACK!" Kodak pushes Fumiko away from him, causing them to both dodge a familiar strike of electricity.
"You actually showed back up at the school!?" The voice called out in anger. "You're so dead!"
[Innate Skill: Thunderblast Activated Violently!]
Kodak's skin crawls, not out of fear for himself, but for the enemy he once critically injured. "FUMIKO, GET BACK!" He yells while revenant activates all across his body.
[Innate Skill: Kinetic Artifact Activated!]
[Kinetic Artifact: Pulsating Shield Selected!]
Blue sparks around Kodak radiate, causing him to create a large shield of kinetic energy from within his body as he prepares for his attacker's assault.
The shield stands tall as Kodak slams the vertically large shield into ground, reinforcing his defenses against a certain enemy.
[Innate Skill: Pulsing Aura Activated!]
A clash of the two innate skills clash, creating a collision made up of the different energy types. A blast of dark yellow lightning that struck with nothing but violence, and animosity. While Kodak's blue kinetic energy pulsed, and glowed strongly as his defenses didn't yield in the slightest towards the attack.
Fumiko's hair flows rapidly through the wind as she shuts her eyes. Emotions of anger and the helplessness rushed through her body.
"It's just like last year." She thought to herself angrily. "I'm useless yet again, and all Kodak has done is put himself in front of me again. He hasn't even talked with me for a straight year, and yet he still shows kindness."
Fumiko's face created a warm smile as she stayed right behind Kodak as the dark lightning continued it's onslaught. Those negative emotions didn't keep Fumiko down, but rather was used as a tool of motivation and growth.
A flashback then coursed through her mind. One from about 2 months ago.

Fumiko sat in her room, crying. Those tears swelled up further, and further as those thoughts of Kodak seemingly abandoning her rushed through her mind. But as the crying and sobbing continued through the dark night.
The clouds then shifted slowly, revealing the moon. Fumiko then felt a strange urge to look up. So she did just that. Only to find that the moon was glowing slight shade of pastel purple.
And as the moonlight's illumination poured into the room, so did a strange figure. Or rather, an avatar. "So your the one I'm suppose to get up to speed." Fumiko saw a pale woman, dressed in a flowery purple kimono. Her eyes were strange as well. The sclera of her eyes were black, while the iris was white.
The woman also had a katana wielded by her side. A completely white katana, with a purple design of flowers all along the sheathed weapon.
"How where are my manners?!" The woman said as she extends her hand, pulling Fumiko off the floor, gently. "My name is Kaguya, your new avatar."
The memory then ends as Fumiko comes back to the present. "Little did I know, that introduction would lead me to gain more strength than I ever thought possible. My control and handling of my revenant skyrocketed. Along with the creation of new skills. Innate or not."
The blast of lightning then ceased as Kodak's shield then crumbled. He looked forward, seeing Azar Tento. His cocky grin, and arrogant attitude was infuriating to see.
Kodak then glares at him while taking a few steps forward. "What the hell is your problem!?"
Azar grins with overconfidence as he hears the yelling. "MY PROBLEM IS YOU!"
But as he yells at Kodak, Fumiko runs past her protector. A bundle of energy coursing through her body as she ran.
Kodak tries to grab her, as to reel her back safely. But he comes just shy of her uniform, and his eyes then widened in a wonderful surprise.
"She's actually rushing down Azar?!"
A pastel purple glow then radiates from Fumiko as her body begins speeding up further.

The energy shrouds Fumiko's body, and her fist then strikes Azar head on. His body flies through the stone stairs of the school's front entrance. Fumiko then appears instantly in front of Azar, and throws multiple punches towards him. Forcefully making Azar take defensive action with his abilities.
[Innate Skill: Thunderous Aura Activated!]
The dark lightning then tightens itself around Azar's body, sending out small sparks of defiance as Fumiko's strikes only get stronger and stronger with every blow landed.
"Now you know what it feels like to be helplessly beaten and battered!" She shouts as her eyes glow with the same energy she had been using to reinforce herself. But Azar just smirks as his aura begins to glow slightly brighter, and stronger.
"Who says I'm battered!" He exclaimed with a battle hungry look in his eyes.
Fumiko tries to throw another punch, but it bounces right off of Azar's electrical aura. Kodak's eyes then widen. "FUMIKO, GET AWAY FROM AZAR!!!"
Her head then darts around, seeing Kodak running towards her. "Shit, he's right!" She thought to herself.
Fumiko jumps up, but Azar's hand then grabs her slamming her down into the ground. A shockwave then erupts, causing rubble to going flying in all directions.

Azar's body then unleashes a burst of lightning in the form of a spider's webs, catching Fumiko off guard, and completely immobilizing her as the shocks of electricity tried to penetrate her aura of energy.
Azar then smirks as he looks down on the immobilized Fumiko. "Do us all a favor, don't think of putting in effort. It's all pointless after all."
Fumiko's face then darkens with despair as her body begins to slowly give up. "Is this it?" She asked herself. "Am I gonna be this worthless girl still?"
Azar then smirks as he senses her aura weakening. "So pathetic." He snarked at her arrogantly.
But as Azar lifted his fist something could felt throughout the air. Not the powerful winds, nor the dust from the rubble Azar at thrown around carelessly. But an azure glow of kinetic energy that pulsed loudly, almost like a beating heart.

Azar then turned around, only to immediately be met with a violent attack from Kodak. The attack slammed into his ribcage. The sound of bones being broken echoed as Azar was sent flying from the impact.
His body tumbled, and crashed against the asphalt harshly. Blood then ran down from his forehead as blood leaked into the warm asphalt.
Kodak then ran over to Fumiko, seeing the electrical webs fizzling out, before eventually dissipating completely in a just a few seconds.
"Fumiko," He called to her with a soft and caring expression. "are you okay?"
She then slowly stood up, seeing Kodak's worried expression. "I'm okay. Just-" But as Fumiko spoke she saw Azar running down the parking lot, aiming himself at Kodak.
"LOOK OUT!" She screamed at him.
Kodak's eyes then shifted from worried, to a furious glare. A glare that was fed up with all the pointless violence.
He then shifted his body, immediately facing Azar as he was tackled from his attacker.
"WE'RE NOT DONE, KAWANARI!!!" Azar screamed ruthlessly.
Kodak's back then tensed in pain as he was dragged through the asphalt of the parking lot. But despite his pain, Kodak turned and shifted his body, making so they wouldn't harm any cars.
Azar then reeled his fist back, and threw a punch imbued with lightning.

The crackling of thunder then followed as the attack was thrown. But Azar face becomes shocked as he looks to see that Kodak had caught the punch with his hand coursing with kinetic energy.
Kodak then releases his hand, and pounces on Azar as his body stops being dragged against the ground. His arms and legs quickly wrap around his opponent, completely trapping Azar in a tight hold.
"NO, LET ME GO YOU BASTARD!!!" He screamed violently as the power of lightning and sound of thunder vibrated aggressively.
Kodak's grip stood strong, but didn't tighten. "Can't risk hurting him." He thought to himself.
Azar then headbutted Kodak face, immediately breaking his nose. Blood then leaked from Kodak's nose as his grip tightened strongly against Azar. "Don't be stupid Azar!" He exclaimed. "Give up, and stop this pointless fighting!"
Azar's anger grew stronger, and stronger as he heard Kodak's words. "SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!"
[Innate Skill: Thundering Burst Wave Activated!]
Kodak then feels his defensive aura of kinetic energy then crack. Lightning surges through his body, causing his grip to loosen. Azar then escapes Kodak's grasp, and goes to deliver a punch, but as throws his fist. He feels someone grab it.
He looks up, seeing Fumiko glowing, and radiating with more energy than before.

But as she raises her fist, a voice calls out to them. "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING?!"
