The engines of The Goliath roared like ancient titans awakening, its massive body splitting clouds as it ascended from Earth's surface, breaking into the atmosphere with majestic purpose. Designed with the combined brilliance of Wakandan vibranium tech and Stark's genius engineering, it was a flying fortress—one Earth's fate now rested upon.

Inside, chaos was slowly forming into order. Heroes checked equipment, SHIELD agents distributed specialized suits adapted for space combat, and the core strike team prepared for deployment.

Aiden adjusted the reinforced gauntlet on his arm, his gaze drifting toward the void outside the hangar. His new Abyss Form might be able to survive space. It was powerful, strange, and... still unfamiliar. He wasn't ready to test it—not yet.

But what caught Aiden's attention wasn't the stars outside. It was the energy nearby—familiar, warm, and a little electric.

He smiled.

"I guess Galactus ruined my plans..." he muttered as he walked deeper into the room.

Suddenly, two warm hands covered his eyes.

"Who is it~?"

The voice was soft, teasing—and instantly recognizable.

"Kitty..." Aiden said with a grin.

She laughed and pulled her hands back, and as Aiden turned, he was met with the grown-up face of his first friend. Kitty Pryde stood before him, seventeen now, her long dark brown hair flowing in soft waves. She wore the newest version of the X-Men stealth suit—sleek black with metallic purple-blue accents, hugging her athletic curves while still practical. A small X insignia sat near her collarbone. Her posture was confident, casual, and completely comfortable around Aiden.

"You look amazing, Kitty… I missed you."

She didn't waste a second—Kitty lunged forward and wrapped her arms tightly around him.

"I missed you so much, Aiden…"

Behind her, another familiar face walked up. Bobby Drake—Iceman—still tall, lean, and cocky as ever, though the boyish charm had matured just enough to match the battles he'd been through.

"Hey, Aiden..." he said with a small smirk. "We're stronger now. Worthy."

Aiden let Kitty go and exchanged a solid dap with Bobby. "Hey Bobby... Prove it in the battle today."

Before Bobby could fire back a smart reply, another voice joined the mix.

"Hardly fair to judge us when we're fighting a god, don't you think?"

Aiden turned to find her—Noriko Ashida. Her indigo hair was longer now, streaked with electric blue, tied back in a high ponytail that swayed as she walked. She wore a newer variation of her Surge suit, built for both speed and charge distribution—dark navy with glowing veins of neon blue across the arms and thighs. Her sharp eyes and smirking lips were the same, but her presence had grown.

"Noriko... good to see you."

She didn't wait—just pulled him into a tight hug and kissed him lightly on the cheek.

"Missed you, Aiden… And don't think having a girlfriend now is gonna stop me."

He raised a brow. "Still going on about that, huh?"

"Never left my heart, sweetie," she grinned. "I want you."

"Do you even love me? Or is this some weird need to win?"

"Can't decide…" she said, eyes twinkling. "Maybe both?"

"She can't decide," came another voice. "I can. I love you, I want you—and I'm not backing down."

Aiden turned with a knowing sigh and smiled. "Hi, Jubi…"

Jubilation Lee was leaning against a stack of crates, arms crossed, lips curled into her usual mischievous grin. Her outfit was a newer take on her classic look: a fitted black bodysuit with golden accents, sleeveless with a short yellow jacket over the top, and dark sunglasses perched on her head. Her black hair was tied in a playful bun with a few strands framing her pretty face. Everything about her screamed playful rebel—and yet her voice now held a little more truth than Aiden remembered.

He walked over and hugged her. She squeezed back tightly.

"Missed your chaos, Jubi."

"And I missed being your chaos," she winked.

He laughed, then glanced around. One was missing. But not for long.

Across the room, she stood—arms wrapped over her waist, half-shaded by the dim lighting.

Her figure had matured, lithe and powerful in a skin-tight, dark green and black bodysuit lined with armored padding. A small brown jacket rested over her shoulders, and her long, streaked white hair tumbled over one side. Her green eyes locked with Aiden's, then quickly darted down. She looked shy for only a moment—then walked toward him with purpose.

"Rogue…"

She didn't speak at first—she just hugged him. It was long. Meaningful. Her head rested gently against his chest, and she held on like she didn't want to let go.

"I missed this feeling…" she whispered, her voice almost breaking.

Only Aiden knew what that meant. Rogue hadn't been able to touch anyone—not without hurting them. But with Aiden, her powers never activated. For three years, she'd been without warmth, without contact. Now, her arms wrapped around the only person who could give it to her freely.

"Me too, Rogue… Me too."

A silence stretched around them until Kitty broke it with a playful nudge. "Okay, okay… don't hog him."

Laughter rippled through the group as they slowly clustered around again, playful shoves and teasing banter flying like no time had passed.

"So, Aiden," Bobby grinned, "You're still the same huh? I got taller"

"You're literally shorter than me....Also I'm Still stronger," Aiden shot back.

"You're not gonna recognize us after today's fight," Noriko added, crackling her fingers with electricity.

"Is that a threat or a promise?" Aiden teased.

"A date," Noriko winked.

Before the teasing could spiral into chaos, Aiden held up his hand. "Actually... there's someone I want you to meet."

From behind him, she stepped forward.

Valeria, Her space suit was slim-fit, tailored for her form, silvery-white with light-blue detailing—both practical and elegant. Her long blonde hair was tied in a bun, and her sharp blue eyes radiated calm intellect. But when she saw Aiden with his old friends, her smile turned warm and genuine.

"This is Valeria," Aiden said proudly. "My girlfriend."

The group blinked.

Kitty blinked twice.

Noriko's eye twitched.

Jubilation raised a brow.

Rogue just lowered her head slightly.

But Valeria stepped forward with perfect grace, offering her hand—first to Kitty, then Bobby, Noriko, Jubi, and finally Rogue, who cautiously reached forward wearing her glove. Valeria didn't flinch.

"It's an honor to meet you all," she said kindly. "Aiden's told me so much. You were his first real friends. I'm... really glad you're here."

Her voice was so sincere, so kind—it almost hurt to dislike her. Even the tension in Noriko's jaw relaxed.

Jubilation leaned toward Kitty and whispered, "Why is she so nice? I want to hate her…"

"Can't," Kitty whispered back, defeated. "She's... perfect."

Valeria, smiling softly, pulled Aiden gently beside her. "Don't worry. I'm not here to compete. I know how much you all mean to him."

That one line sealed it. Even Rogue cracked a small, begrudging smile.

Aiden looked at the girls, then at Valeria—suddenly surrounded by the chaos of his old life and the heart of his new one.

"…This is gonna be a long mission."
