"Wait! Miss Kanade."
Tachima Kanade continued to run while Kirisaki Tsubaki was catching up to her. After a minute of running, they both got tired and stopped.
"Huff Huff..."
"Huff Huff..."
Kirisaki Tsubaki grabbed Tachima Kanade's arm to prevent her from running again.
"Wait, Miss Kanade."
"..."
Tachima Kanade just stared at Kirisaki Tsubaki with annoyance in her eyes.
Tachima Kanade began to speak to her:
"Let me go!"
Tachima Kanade tried to shrug Kirisaki Tsubaki off, but her grip strength was so strong that Tachima Kanade couldn't even budge.
A figure of a man, a few steps away, was walking towards Tachima Kanade and Kirisaki Tsubaki. A familiar face surfaced slightly in Tachima Kanade's memories.
"Hey there, young students..."
The man spoke to them.
"And who the hell are you?"
Tachima Kanade spat.
"Miss Kanade! Watch your words!"
Kirisaki Tsubaki warned Tachima Kanade about the way she spoke to the man, who was older than them.
The man didn't respond quickly. Instead, he smiled slightly and introduced himself to them.
"My name is Kirishima Minoru, a newly hired clinic doctor at your school."
Replied the doctor, Kirishima Minoru, with a little smile on his face, and he added, "I'm sure I've already met you, Miss Kanade, but you were unconscious when I did."
Both Kirisaki Tsubaki and Tachima Kanade felt puzzled by what he was implying.
As this predicament was unfolding, a silhouette of a running man appeared behind Kirisaki Tsubaki and Tachima Kanade. It was Yamada Naoto. As he was approaching, he saw a familiar face in the distance.
"Is that...?"
Yamada remembered the face of the doctor who took care of Tachima Kanade. As Yamada reached the scene, the doctor, Kirishima Minoru, started to speak.
"Oh, isn't that the young guardian of the lady here."
Kirishima Minoru smiled as if there was a hidden mask he wore beneath that smile.
"Gee, I mean, it's been a while, umm, doctor..."
Yamada Naoto said that, wondering why, of all people in this countryside, he had bumped into this guy again.
"It's been a while since we last met, Mr. Yamada. It looks like your braids still suit you."
Complimented Kirishima Minoru.
Just as both Kirishima and Yamada were exchanging words, Kirisaki Tsubaki felt strange about Kirishima Minoru.
"His surname, 'Kirishima'... is it just a coincidence?"
The scene will shift to where Kirishima Minoru would insist that they should go to Yamada Naoto and Tachima Kanade's house.
"Well, Mr. Yamada, I would like to talk to you about Ms. Tachima. Can we talk about it at your house?"
Yamada Naoto asked, "Why in our house when we could just do it here?"
Yamada asked as he felt irritated by Kirishima Minoru.
"Because it would take a long time."
Kirishima Minoru said that while showing his doubtful smile, causing Kirisaki Tsubaki and Tachima Kanade to glance at each other.
