Hold up, just kidding we can't be cutting the story short like that. I haven't yet explained where Lao Zhan disappeared to plus, I haven't yet introduced Hoseok so the story can't end. Now, where was I? Oh, I remember. I was rushed to the hospital after I fainted from hunger, which caused my blood pressure to drop, thus I fainted. I then woke up in the hospital thinking that I was dead but fortunately for me, my maker wasn't ready to have this lunatic with him. After I woke up, the doctors did a post syncope assessment to make sure I was safe and stable enough to be discharged.
"Oh, that is right before I forget. Lao Zhan where was your ass at when I was dying? So much for having a boyfriend." I said giving him a sarcastic, unimpressed look that screamed.
"Says the one who went crazy and stabbed Lan Xichen in both thighs." he said, his words echoing with sarcasm.
"She did what?" Lu Lu asked, her eyes full of disbelief.
"Wait, who is Lan Xichen?" Wen Zhin asked, curiosity eating him.
"Wait, Zhao Zhao. How did you do it? Did you trick him into lowering his guard then attacked? Or did you attack head on?" he said, his eyes lighten with excitement as if a five-year-old anxiously waiting for his candy.
"SMACK!" Wen Zhin's hand came down hard on the back of Xiao Zhi's head.
"Wait, so you disappeared the whole day and didn't pick up their calls just because your ex-lover was hurt? Wow! You are truly my brother," she questioned him, her words sarcastic as ever.
Her eyes furrowed, as if waiting for him to say yes so she could beat the crap out of him. We all turned around and stared daggers at him, waiting to her his response.
"Could you please let me finish speaking first then you can decide to think about different methods of killing because I can see you are already thinking about it." he said, taking a cautious step back.
" You see...That is how I managed to get to their hideout without being noticed," he explained, leaving everyone's bubble busted.
"Damn, I thought I'd be getting to see Zhao Zhao skin you alive," Lu Lu said, her face scrunching in disappointment.
"So, Wen Zhou planned to eliminate the head and secondary branches of the gang then launch a full head-on attack? Wow, I have got to give him that. He has the brain," I said, nodding my head in approval of his thinking.
"But why choose to attack only you? I mean we have other secondary branches that are powerful like Seokjin so why attack only Lao Zhan?" Zha Zha asked, her face furrowed in confusion.
"Zhanbao, you didn't r**e the poor guy, did you?" Wen Qin asked, her brows furrowed in suspicion.
"MOM!" he shouted, his eyes and mouth wide, shocked by what his mom had just asked him.
"What?! Maybe you were drunk by that time that is why you don't remember? After all, I'm your mom. I know you love ass more than anything," she said, folding her arms with absolute confidence.
"But I'm not saying you should dump him, Zhao Zhao," she added, reaching out to take my right hand and brushing it gently, as if trying to coax me into agreeing with her.
For a second, we could only stare at Wen Qin in shock… then the whole room erupted into laughter. They stayed in the hospital for a few hours before heading home, while I, on the other hand, had to stay overnight for observation, just in case my injury relapsed. For a moment, I swore dying of hunger would've been kinder than having to breathe hospital disinfectant for an entire night.
It was the next morning. I woke up early and took a quick bath. By the time Lao Zhan came to fetch me, he found me already dressed and waiting for him at the entrance.
"Hahaha, was it that traumatizing to stay overnight?" he said, bursting into laughter when he saw how impatiently I was waiting.
"I was starting to feel my brain pack its bags," I explained, pouting as I remembered how I'd spent the whole night staring at the hospital ceiling.
"Wait, is that Hoseok?" I asked, my face lighting up with excitement as I pointed at the person inside the car.
