Chapter 703 - Chapter 703: The God's Arrival

Jiraiya was also slightly stunned by Kushina's sudden change in attitude.

"Kushina, you can't talk to the teacher with that attitude," Minato said from the side, but before he could finish, Kushina turned her eyes and gave him a fierce look.

"Have you read the teacher's so-called new book?" She questioned Minato in return, her eyes already filled with anger, and there seemed to be flames surging in her pupils.

Hearing this, Minato's heart trembled violently. Kushina's question meant that she already knew about Jiraiya's new book. Not only him, but Jiraiya also suddenly understood why Kushina's attitude changed so quickly.

"No," Minato shrank his neck and waved his hands to deny it.

Kushina stared at him doubtfully for a few seconds before saying, "That's more like it. Otherwise..."

She immediately turned her eyes, looked at Jiraiya and said, "Teacher, Naruto and Chiharu are still young. I did this because I don't want them to learn any bad habits from you. This is how a mother feels, you can understand that, right?" Kushina's face had become quite dark, and she was on the verge of losing her temper.

"Gurgle." Jiraiya swallowed and responded, "I know."

Kushina's expression then eased somewhat, but Naruto and Chiharu were both stunned by what had just happened.

"Mom, what happened?" Just as Naruto was about to ask a question, he was immediately stopped by Chiharu.

Following her line of sight, Naruto saw that Minato now had his hands behind his back, signaling them not to ask any further questions. If they asked any more questions, Kushina might go berserk.

"Where are you going?" When Kushina's expression had calmed down a bit, Jiraiya asked cautiously.

"Today is Kakashi's 18th birthday, and we are going to attend his birthday party," Chiharu replied.

"Kakashi, is that kid already eighteen years old?" Jiraiya's eyes flashed, and then he said, "If that's the case, I must go too. After all, that kid is my grand disciple."

After that, he observed Kushina's expression again. She did not object, but grabbed Naruto and Chiharu's hands on both sides, and kept a certain distance from Jiraiya.

Minato saw this and gave his teacher a wry smile.

"Let's go," Kushina said calmly, then pulled Naruto and his sister towards the direction of the Hatake clan.

Minato and Jiraiya looked at each other and followed.

The Hatake clan.

Sakumo was the patriarch of the Hatake clan, and Kakashi was not only the heir, but also the elite of the clan. So his birthday party was held quite grandly, though Kakashi himself wasn't too fond of this formality.

"Minato, here you come," Suzuka seemed to be entertaining guests in front of Kakashi's house.

"Master Jiraiya, you are here too." When she saw Jiraiya coming with Minato's family, she looked slightly surprised.

"Suzuka -senpai," Minato smiled and nodded, while Jiraiya beside him waved his hand and said with a smile, "Just call me by my name, otherwise I will have to call Sakumo the clan head later, and I am not used to it."

Suzuka also chuckled. At this time, Kushina came in front of her, smiled and said happily, " Suzuka!"

"Hehe." Regarding Kushina's cheerful personality, Suzuka smiled and chatted with her for a few words, then bent down and greeted Naruto and his sister.

After some greetings, everyone entered the house with Suzuka.

At this time, there were only Kakashi and Sakumo in the room. Both of them stood up at the same time and came forward to greet them.

"Happy birthday, Kakashi niichan!" Chiharu handed the gift that she had prepared long ago to Kakashi.

"Thank you very much," Kakashi took it and smiled.

Naruto and the Minato couple also gave Kakashi a gift each. This made Jiraiya seem a little embarrassed, because he had just arrived and had not prepared any gifts.

Then he changed his mind and quietly pulled Kakashi to a place on the side. Jiraiya took out a copy of "Icha Icha Paradise" from his robes, opened the first page, and signed his name on it.

"Here," as he said that, he handed the book to Kakashi who looked a little stunned.

"What? Do you think my gift is too simple?" Jiraiya asked.

Kakashi quickly shook his head and said, "No, it is something special that many people would love to have. Master Jiraiya coming to my birthday party is already an honor."

Jiraiya nodded in satisfaction at this answer, and then said, "Don't underestimate the book I gave you. It is one of the first batch of samples before the release of 'Icha Icha Paradise.' With my signature, it is worth quite a lot."

He said this quite confidently.

Kakashi had never heard of this book before, but in order to please Jiraiya, he nodded and thanked him repeatedly, then put the book into the ninja tool pouch behind his waist. He planned to try to read it when he had some free time. After all, Jiraiya was one of the Legendary Sannin, and the books he created based on his own vision should be of some benefit to his own practice.

This is what Kakashi thought.

The Land of Rain, Rain Village.

Drip.

In this land, the drizzle never stops.

The central tower of Rain Village was the residence of the leader of Rain Village, the self-proclaimed demigod Hanzo. At this time, the dozen or so Rain Ninja guards around the top floor of the tower were all wrapped in white paper, with only their noses exposed so they could breathe.

"Don't worry, God won't hurt you."

In front of these people, pieces of paper gradually floated over from a distance and then condensed into a woman with blue hair.

The woman ignored the shouts of the people in front of her and turned her eyes to look at the room at the very center of the top floor of the tower.

It seemed as if a figure, like a god, descended from the sky and landed outside the door. The man walked slowly without any movement, but the door opened automatically.

"Who?" When he stepped into the room, a voice was heard.

The man did not respond and continued walking forward.

"Die!" At this moment, a sickle tore through the screen in the room and rushed towards the man.

He still did not move. Just before the sickle reached his face, it was bounced away by a powerful repulsive force. Not only the sickle, but also the wooden floor and the screen in the room were torn apart.

At this time, Hanzo's figure finally appeared, and his eyes were slightly trembling.

"Who are you?" Hanzo asked, unable to see the face of the person in front of him because he was wearing a large black robe with a hood.

"God," the man replied calmly.

Hanzo scoffed at the answer with a sneer on his face. Was this guy who came out of nowhere and attacked him actually a madman who called himself a god?

The man in the black robe slowly took off his hood. When Hanzo saw his face clearly, he couldn't help but show a look of horror on his face, even though he was usually calm!
