"pfft" The sound of surrounding laughter had me coming back to my senses as I tried standing up, my butt aching. My gaze settled on the man behind the principal who has a look of amusement as his gaze was firmly on me.
I couldn't help cursing and blaming him for my misfortune in my mind.
"miss lee" the principal Mr Stanford called and I turned my gaze towards him just in time to catch the fleeting look of embarrassment on his expression.
I smiled weakly already up letting out a sigh while feeling exasperated.
"go reflect yourself on what you have done wrong under the school flag for a class period and return to your class thereafter. See me before you leave the school premises" he announced turning to Mr gray with a smile "sorry for that Mr gray, pls come with me" Mr Stanford had a flattering smile gesturing to Mr gray to come with me.
They all walked past me, Mr gray's gaze lingering on me for a while longer before walking away. I let out a sigh, my gaze straying into the class.
Natalie mouthed 'i tried my best with a shrug' and I rolled my eyes.
I wasn't really interested in coming to class so I swaggered towards the school flag under the gazes of everyone.
The day slowly went by and I walked towards the infirmary, my butt aching slightly. I needed a pain reliever or I might continue limping for some time.
"you are here again" the student doctor Daniel emphasized and I shrugged nonchalantly.
"pain reliever" I said not daring to sit.
He let out a sigh, turned to the cabinet used in keeping drugs searching while speaking
"what's it this time around? Headache, menstrual pain.." he continued listen and I rolled my eyes.
"are you sure you want to know where the pain comes from?" I asked with a sly grin.
Daniel and myself gets along quite well so I tease him a lot.
"what? is it embarrassing" he paused turning to look at me for a few seconds before turning away.
"yep. I fell on my butt and it's a little painful" I suppressed a smile as I watched his ear turn red and then he let out a cough while I let out a laugh.
"well...." he turned to me with a capsule "use this, two" he handed it over gesturing two with his fingers before walking over to his desk taking his seat.
