The first chapter of the War between the Pillars and Mirrors, which lasted for several hours, had multiple facets.

First, it was trapping the Mirror Timeline's greatest trophies in a separate dimension, especially the rogue Dumbledore and the Yellow Warlock.

The presence of an evolved Voldemort and Ekrizdis with them only made things easier for the Pillars.

The second and third facets occurred simultaneously.

As the Ultramarines' Squad Aegis annihilated Voldemort's Army, the Pillar Madam Villanelle used her Mirror self to invade the Hogwarts Grounds and unleash the Black Death.

Then there was the fourth facet, with the second Ultramarines' Squad leveling MACUSA — the Dark Alliance's HQ, along with the Yellow Warlock's secret lair that was rumored to be deep under the building, protected by several Bounded Fields.

It was then that the War began gaining facets that the vengeful Pillars never planned for.

The Order of the Immortal Lotus' six members planned the fifth and sixth facets for them by sending Pillar Voldemort to occupy Red Sun outside the planet, while giving the three 12th Floor Contestants a Hidden Mission and sending them to kill the Yellow Warlock… and whoever else they wished along with him.

Then, unexpectedly, a seventh facet appeared out of nowhere.

The Yellow Warlock's secret lair, which the Pillars and the Order had known about, turned out to be a bigger headache than they had imagined, taking the form of a Dungeon.

It was there that everything that had been going well in the Pillars' and the Order's favor went wrong.

It was there that they finally met a wall that squashed the conflict, putting a temporary end to it.

Not only did this Wall take care of the problem of the unhinged powers of the Pillar Madam Villanelle and the mighty advance of the Ultramarines with a nuclear BOOM, but it also put a stop to the Black Death plaguing Hogwarts by plunging a dagger into it that could break all the Rules.

Sadly, Shirou Emiya could not have played a role in two of these seven facets even if he wanted to.

Ever since returning from the Fate Bubble, Kai had battled with the threat of the Order of the Immortal Lotus sensing his teleportations to different Bubbles, especially the ones he used to return to the Harry Potter Bubble.

These teleportations were not something innate to Kai.

It was the Systems that presented him with the means to switch timelines and Bubbles when he used his privilege to give himself or his followers a Side Mission.

Thus, forget about hiding the locations of these teleportations' Entry and Exit Points; he could not even dictate where the Exit would open on the other side.

All he could control was the wording for the Side Mission itself.

The simpler the structure, carrying a specific task, the more he could control the general location of the teleportation's Exit Point.

The Entry Point was much easier to deal with if he needed to hide it from prying eyes.

All he had to do was cast his Reality Marble within a Bounded Field for extra protection and then use the teleportation channel.

Still, despite all this, Kai had realized that his journeys to the various Bubbles had come under the Order's direct scrutiny.

With the threat of Inquisitors involved, he had all but abandoned using Side Missions to go to a different Bubble.

If it hadn't been for the gravity of the events that had played out in the Verse Fusion Random World, then Kai would have never gone there, no matter how much pain Shinobu had been going through. Not when he had already sent Mang Jian as his most secret trump card.

Even then, Kai had gone to the Verse Fusion timeline via several different Bubbles to mask his route, casting a Reality Marble each time so that if Aizen or Abdul Alhazred were keeping an eye on him, they wouldn't learn his ultimate destination.

Needless to say, the Captain of the White Serpent Pirates had been taking the threat related to his most-enjoyed privilege quite seriously.

Shirou Emiya's presence in the White Serpent Pirates' HQ was a direct result of that.

Kai had needed a way to at least go to one Bubble with his real body without using the Side Mission method.

With the Key Fate Timeline, which had gradually elevated to the status of Mirror after the Great Holy Grail War, on his side, he had naturally chosen Her world.

The presence of Medea and other Characters, who had a very strong and positive impression of him, in that timeline also strengthened the cause.

So, first Kai had used his Dimensional Summoning Skill to summon Medea into the HQ and used her to create a vast Teleportation Array, simultaneously directing the real Medea in the Mirror Fate timeline to create a sister Array.

It had taken them over half a year to complete it.

And the moment Black had confirmed that the Pillars had begun their invasion of the Mirror timeline, he had put it to use, bringing Shirou to the Harry Potter Bubble.

But, being an outsider, Shirou couldn't have left the Bounded Field around the HQ.

That's why Black had waited for the Mirror Timeline to grow desperate and ask Her to grant citizenship to Shirou.

It was this citizenship that finally allowed Shirou to reach Hogwarts and use Rule Breaker on the Black Death Spell.

It was also this citizenship that limited him to the Mirror timeline as well.

Which meant, unlike Pillar Voldemort, Shirou couldn't leave the planet.

Which also meant Shirou couldn't go to the dimension where the Order had trapped the Mirror timeline's four most powerful weapons, unlike the three 12th Floor Contestants.

That made the outcomes of these two particular facets most crucial to the future of the War.

And it all happened during the brief period of Madam Villanelle appearing at MACUSA with Lieutenant Varro of the Ultramarines and her summoning the real Excalibur —

— which subsequently resulted in the battle between Death and two Half-Deep Ones!
