As Aurora walked towards the elevator, she thought, "I expected her to resist the idea of changing hospitals, but she was surprisingly understanding."
She pressed the button for the elevator thinking, "I've already settled her medical bills and sorted out the transfer papers. All that's left is for her to be moved to one of the healthcare facilities of Grayson and Mirage Health."
The elevator doors opened, and she stepped inside, pressing the button for the ground floor.
"Unfortunately, I won't be here when she gets transferred. Anita already emailed me my schedule for the week, and I'll be busy with work. There's still so much to do before I can fully understand the company. And then there's the issue of the slush fund and Jack," Aurora sighed. "And tomorrow, I have to attend the old man's funeral."
