"Boom boom boom!!"
Explosions erupted across the deck where Akainu stood.
Even the ocean's surface roared with waves from the blasts.
Affected by the power of the Crimson Gem, Akainu had transformed into a nearly ten-meter-tall, extremely muscular small giant, his entire body glowing red.
It wasn't just his size that changed—his Haki and magma abilities were elevated dramatically.
His originally black Armament Haki now gleamed crimson, mingled with searing magma that flowed endlessly across his body.
The temperature he radiated was terrifyingly high.
Even before his magma fell, the heat alone was enough to ignite the deck.
The entire warship felt like a giant frying pan, unbearably hot.
"Damn it… this is the power of the Crimson Gem?"
Aokiji stared at Akainu's transformation in shock.
He felt an overwhelming sense of danger from him.
It was as if if he dared to fight Akainu now, there would be only one outcome—certain death.
Kizaru beside him looked equally shaken, subconsciously taking a few steps back.
"Oi, Akainu, can you still control yourself?!"
Aokiji shouted urgently.
If this continued, it wouldn't be surprising if Akainu destroyed the entire warship.
"Relax, I still have my mind."
Akainu's voice now rumbled deeply. Slowly, his massive body shrank back to normal.
"Bring me some clothes!"
He barked at the group of Marines trembling nearby.
"Y-Yes, sir!"
The Marines scrambled away, half crawling in fear.
"Haha… this is incredible. The moment I grabbed it, I felt an overwhelmingly powerful force flooding my body, as if I could do anything!"
"With this power, justice will definitely prevail! Evil will be crushed!"
Akainu gazed at the Crimson Gem with uncontained excitement.
"I remember the screen said it was the power of some demon god from the Marvel Universe… didn't you sense anything off? Or see some god?"
Kizaru asked curiously.
"No. All I felt was power—immense power. Nothing else."
Akainu answered, his gaze locked obsessively onto the gem.
He didn't even realize how crazed he looked at that moment.
Aokiji watched his expression, feeling increasingly worried.
Marine Headquarters.
"That guy Akainu… looks like he got one hell of a reward," Garp said gravely.
"Yeah, but that's a good thing, at least our Navy has grown stronger."
Sengoku nodded, seeing it as a positive development.
"Is it though? With Akainu's already extreme personality, will this much power really not cause problems?"
Garp voiced his deeper concern.
"It should be fine. Don't overthink it."
Sengoku dismissed his worry, but Garp's stern expression didn't ease.
Meanwhile, the comment section was already filled with discussion:
Daigo: "That was terrifying… such a massive monster with so many tentacles. Is it lurking under the sea?"
Dan Moroboshi: "Most likely. This isn't some ordinary kaiju. To destroy Entity-3, you'd have to accept massive casualties."
Feng Yuan: "Then we can only let it rampage!?"
Goku: "Is it that troublesome? In our world, even if tons of people die to kill it, we can just wish them back with the Dragon Balls."
Jiraiya: "We don't have such convenient miracles…"
Ancient One: "I didn't expect the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak to become a reward. I wonder if that's a blessing or a curse."
Whitebeard: "The screen said Cyttorak is a demon god from your Marvel world. What exactly is he?"
Ancient One: "As the name suggests, a god. He embodies crimson magic and resides in the distant Crimson Cosmos. His power is terrifying—he could destroy a solar system with just a finger."
Ancient One: "Among many demon gods, Cyttorak ranks near the top. Those who wield his magic gain incredible might."
Garp: "So he's even stronger than that beast-felling punch!"
Ancient One: "Yes. If your strongest universe beast punch can only destroy a few planets, it's nothing to Cyttorak."
Kizaru: "That strong? If this gem has Cyttorak's power, does that mean Akainu will become as strong as him!?"
Ancient One: "Not exactly. While the gem contains his power, it adjusts to the wielder's limits. If it gave Akainu Cyttorak's full strength at once, he would be obliterated. He can only use a tiny fraction of it."
Marco: "Thank goodness, that'd be too terrifying otherwise."
Akainu: "Heh… scared already? Listen up—I will keep growing stronger, until I can fully wield the Crimson Gem's power! Then I'll be the mightiest being in this world. All evil will be eradicated!"
Whitebeard: "Hah… that magma brat gaining such power… looks like big things are coming."
Zoro: "I wonder how it compares to Luffy's Green Lantern ring."
Ancient One: "That, I do not know."
Garp: "Ancient One, is there any problem with using the Crimson Gem's power continuously?"
Ancient One: "To my knowledge, it only grants power. The only issue is that prolonged use may draw Cyttorak's attention, making you his avatar."
Garp: "And you can still call yourself human after that?"
Ancient One: "Yes, though who knows what price you'll pay. But don't worry too much. Cyttorak can't even reach your world."
Naruto: "Letting someone like him gain such power… that's not a good thing."
Akainu: "Brat, what nonsense are you spewing!"
Naruto: "Am I wrong?! Don't think we didn't see what you did to your own comrades!"
Naruto: "Sacrificing prisoners is one thing—they're vile criminals. But your fellow Marines? How could you do something so cruel?!"
Everyone fell silent at Naruto's words.
They had all seen Akainu's actions, and many felt deeply unsettled.
Akainu: "What, you think I was wrong?"
Naruto: "You sacrificed so many of your own comrades! Of course you were wrong!"
Akainu: "Heh, naive little boy. If you were my subordinate, I'd kill you without hesitation. Your weakness would only drag down the Navy."
