"It's okay, I understand."
It was the first time John saw Gu Linhan smile, and it was after he praised Yu Xi.
John said, "You just mentioned the food around here… if you have time, I can take you to eat."
"Ah? Is that okay?" Yu Xi asked from the side.
John chuckled, "Of course, I'm a Birmingham local. If possible, I can show you many places here; they are really beautiful, and I know this place very well."
"Great, thanks then. The place I mentioned is a burger joint nearby, said to be delicious."
"Oh, I know that one, you're quite impressive for knowing it. I'll take you there; it's Uncle Fox's Burger Joint, I know it."
"Really? Then let's go."
They all walked out.
Gu Linhan noticed Yu Xi become excited when food was mentioned, so he didn't say anything and went out with her.
John looked at Yu Xi, then at Gu Linhan.
