It took Long Chen an entire day to arrive at the outskirts of the Sacred Ruins Forbidden Land using the markings on the map. The official opening, however, was not until daylight the next day. Long Chen decided to find a place to rest and recuperate first.
Just then, a group of people headed his way.
"Out of the way!" a man shouted sharply, pushing Long Chen aside for blocking their path.
Long Chen's brows knitted slightly.
The men, however, only stared coldly at him. "What are you looking at?" one of them barked. "Look again, and believe me, I'll gouge your eyes out! Get lost!"
The group hurried forward.
Long Chen's eyes narrowed, a chill emanating from his body. But seeing they had already gone far, he didn't pursue the matter.
He thought it over. Since he was new here, it was best to keep a low profile for now to avoid stirring up trouble.
