(The first two chapters were censored... What a little snitch for reporting it, really...)
(We'll just have to skip this part of the plot!)
When Donnie returned to the United States, it was already November, and the U.S. election was in full swing.
Donnie went to Europe secretly, but Franklin Roosevelt and some big names in the Republican Party were aware of it.
However, when Donnie returned this time, he made no announcement and instead secretly returned directly to Atlantic City.
In Atlantic City during this period, daytime temperatures could reach as high as 14 degrees, while nighttime temperatures would drop to 2 or 3 degrees.
Donnie was wearing a casual jacket, sitting in the garden of the manor, basking in the sun.
As noon approached, a few cars drove slowly into the manor.
Several boys of varying ages got out of these cars one after another.
The manor servants informed them that Donnie Block had returned.
