Sitting in the front row of the Church of Holy Light, Lyle looked up at the Paladin in front of him. Mr. Raymond was standing before him, conversing with anurgent suppressed tone. If it weren't for the fact that Lyle was present, Mr. Raymond might have grabbed the collar of the other person to force them to look him in the eye.
Alianna sat on the other side of the bench, maintaining an appropriate distance that made her presence felt without being intrusive. It was unclear whether her intentions leaned more towards supporting her own Archbishop or the newcomer favored by the Holy Light.
