As Bai Jingxuan walked nervously into the examination room, what she saw was a space almost entirely adorned in white.
The floor, walls, and ceiling were all pristine white, even the lighting was without any hint of color. The room was filled with numerous large pieces of equipment whose purpose was unclear and were in standby mode. Their casings were white, emitting a faint hum in the quiet environment.
In the center of the room stood two women dressed in white coats. Their gaze did not fall on Bai Jingxuan upon her entrance. The two women were looking down, frequently tapping on the light screen before them as if recording something.
Bang.
The examination room door closed behind Bai Jingxuan, producing just the right amount of noise to cause these two women, seemingly examiners, to raise their heads.
"Candidate number 20000103922, Bo Xue, correct?" one of them asked.
"...Yes." Bai Jingxuan replied standing at attention.
