Jian Xi didn't answer directly, urging, "Come on, the third punch!"
Edward squinted his eyes, sizing up Jian Xi. He originally didn't want to hurt her and didn't strike immediately.
He had investigated her thoroughly, only to find that she had learned a bit of the Fancy Useless Kick, so there's no way she could have withstood his previous punch!
"Hurry up!" Jian Xi urged impatiently, the longer the delay, the worse it was for her.
"Alright, let me see what you're capable of!"
Edward swung his fist, concentrating all his strength into his hand.
Just the sight of his momentum was enough to scare someone witless.
Jian Xi was apprehensive, knowing she wasn't fighting alone. The first priority was the safety of the baby in her belly.
She watched Edward warily, ready to respond at any time.
"I really can't bear to hit you."
Just as Jian Xi was fully prepared, Edward withdrew his fist!
"Edward, you should keep your word!"
