"Which one?" Murong Yan still didn't get it.
"That one!" Nan Moxin stomped her foot, "Marital relations!"
"Oh!"
Murong Yan suddenly understood, "People around here don't really pursue that."
"Uh, then how do you pass on your lineage?"
Murong Yan's gaze became distant, "The world's population now is only one-fifth of what it is in your place."
"What?!"
Nan Moxin was shocked again, "Just because you don't like bedroom activities?"
"No, it's because the heavens took away part of our reproductive ability."
"..."
Nan Moxin recalled the sci-fi movies she used to watch with her brother: humans wholeheartedly pursuing technological development, creating many miracles, but ultimately being consumed by those very miracles.
Turns out, it's true. Things do backfire when pushed to the extreme.
"Then I'm not marrying you." Nan Moxin said, "I want to go home! If I can't go home, I'll die in three months, so it's impossible to marry you anyway."
