Jessica sat quietly in the backseat of the fancy black car that Hunter had sent to pick her up. Her hands were folded on her lap, but she kept glancing at her phone wondering whether or not to call Damon.
He had told her earlier that morning that the day was going to be busy for him but she missed him.
She sighed and decided to give him a call. If he was too busy to receive the call that was fine. She would just reach out.
She picked up her phone and dialed Damon's number. It rang once… twice… three times.
There was answer.
Jessica sighed as she pulled the phone away from her ear.
He was probably too busy helping some lady bring her baby into the world, Jessica thought with a smile.
She opened her camera and turned on selfie mode. Even if he couldn't take her calls, she would send him pictures so he could see how pretty she looked.
