" let's talk about Devil Fruits."
"DEVIL FRUITS?" came a collective exclamation from the crew.
"What's there to know about them? Aren't they the treasure of the sea that makes you unable to swim?" Nami asked.
"Yeah, that's the basic definition, but there's more to them," Alex replied. "Devil Fruits are generally classified into three categories: Zoan, Paramecia, and Logia. Zoan fruits give you physical boosts and abilities of certain animals or beasts like tigers or leopards. Paramecia fruits give you different abilities that affect the surroundings."
"The last and most rare is Logia. They give you the ability of elementalization, like wind, fire, ice, etc. You can produce those elements, control them, and elementalize yourself, meaning your attacks will pass through them."
"Attacks pass through them?" Zoro repeated. "Then aren't they invincible?"
"Yeah, they are invincible if someone doesn't know how to counter their elementalization," Alex explained.
"How can you counter that?" Zoro asked.
"You can counter their element by using its properties. Then there's seawater or Seastone, and lastly, there's Haki," Alex said.
"HAKI??"
"Yeah, it's the spiritual energy of people that they can use for different purposes. Mainly, it's divided into three types: Observation, Armament, and Conqueror's Haki."
"Observation Haki is like having a sixth sense. At the basic level, you can see your surroundings, read people's emotions and intentions, and in advanced forms, you can see the future."
"The future??" the crew exclaimed.
"Yeah, you can do that with advanced Observation Haki, but you can cancel someone else's Observation Haki by using Conqueror's Haki. This Haki is the rarest of the three because it is said to be untrainable. You have to be born with it, and then from those who have it, they have to awaken it. Many don't know if they have it or how to awaken it."
"This Haki awakens with willpower and is used to weaken someone else's willpower. You can spread it out in a wide area or use it on a specific target. If you have advanced Conqueror's Haki, you can use it to enhance your Observation and Armament Haki. There may be other uses, but not many people have advanced Conqueror's Haki."
"The final and most effective is Armament Haki. You can train it," Alex said, showing his arm to the crew. "I am using it to cover my arm. Zoro, try to slice off my arm."
Zoro, a bit hesitant but still curious to see what happens, pulled out his sword and swung it vertically on Alex's arm.

A sound echoed as Zoro's sword bounced off Alex's arm like it had hit a stone.
"What...just happened?" Zoro said, holding his sword in his hand.
"This is Armament Haki. I coated it around my arm. It's like a barrier that increases defense and offense, and you can use it to attack Logia users. They won't be able to avoid your attack if you use Armament Haki."
"How do you train it?" Zoro asked.
"I...actually don't know. I got it when I was trying to defend against Mihawk's sword energy," Alex admitted. "But you guys will also learn it if you keep pushing your limits."
The crew looked disappointed but determined.
"Can't do anything about it, but now just remember that the Marine captain in Loguetown is a smoke Logia user. He also has a Seastone weapon, so you can't fight him. Just run if he tries to capture you," Alex advised.
"Understood," the crew replied.
"And I have something for you guys," Alex said as he showed them some books.
"What's this?" the crew asked.
"This is a skillbook, just like the one I gave to Nami. You just have to hold it, and you will gain all the knowledge you need about new technology. This will be useful later on," Alex explained.
The crew took a book each and held it in their hands. Alex nodded as the books disappeared into a yellowish energy that flowed into their brains, giving them detailed and enhanced knowledge about modern-day technology.
"This...this is amazing," Usopp said as he recalled the hard-drive.
"I didn't know things like this existed. Now I can't wait to make new weapons," he added with excitement.
Alex smiled, excited to see how they will use this knowledge
" hey , look isn't that a marine warship , they seem to be escorting pirates " suddenly usopp called out after seeing a marine ship
seeing the ship , alex turned to the crew and said " you guys go ahead and enjoy the town , i will go and meet them
" why would you do that ? " asked zoro
" i will tell you guys after i finish , you guys continue " saying , alex took off to sky with geppo
" just where does he keep going ? , shouldnt he tell us " asked sanji , lighting another cigerette
" maybe it's something important , let's just keep going " said zoro
alex reached the harbour and hid himself on top of a rooftop
" keep walking straight , no one will come here to rescue you pirates , captain smoker is in a good mood today " said a marine warrior , dragging the chains that were locked on buggy and other pirate's
seeing hundred's of pirates being tied up with a simple rope , alex began to position his hands at the rope that were holding them together , and launched a powerful shigan at them
the rope cut open , releasing dozens of small pirates
seeing themselves free , the pirates startes to run around trying to escape

" someone find the sea prism key for captain buggy " exclaimed some pirate's
