"Want to hold him for a bit?" Ye Jiuliang smiled and handed Xiaobai to her.
Gu Xinuo looked down and met Xiaobai's clear eyes, feeling a bit at a loss for a moment.
"Um, how do I hold this?"
Ye Jiuliang chuckled, "Just hold like I do."
With that, she gently placed Xiaobai into her arms, helping her adjust her posture.
Gu Xinuo held Xiaobai, her whole body stiffening, not daring to move.

Ye Jiuliang looked at her rigid expression and laughed, "What's wrong?"
"He's so light." Gu Xinuo finally found her voice, filled with disbelief.
He was so light it was almost weightless.
Ye Jiuliang laughed softly, "Did you think a newborn could be heavy? You should have one yourself and you'll know."
Gu Xinuo rolled her eyes at her, retorting, "Do you think having a baby is as easy as buying a watermelon?"
