The two Three-legged Golden Toads saw each other and immediately locked eyes. They jumped together, face to face, mouth to mouth, occasionally making sounds, like a couple reunited after a brief absence, Ken Kul watched and shook his head,
"Men are indeed fickle. Look... this male toad has completely forgotten about his old love now that he has a new one!"
Since the male toad entered the pool, the Female Toad no longer seemed anxious to escape, so Ken Kul relaxed, even specially took some food and put it in for them. Seeing the two Golden Toads eagerly stretching out their tongues, he was delighted,
"When the master returns, he must reward me greatly!"
He had already bought a piece of land earlier; now he could buy a house and have another concubine!
Ken Kul stayed with the two Golden Toads until dark and then called over the servants to instruct them to take good care of the toads before returning to his courtyard.
