Ignoring the pain from the collision, Wufu deftly twisted and pinned the long-haired child beneath her. She removed his hand that was dug into her shoulder and noticed his fingernails—sharp, long, black, and very dangerous.
"Oh my, are you trying to be a zombie with those fingers?" So terrifying.
Whether he understood her words or was subdued by her, the long-haired child's hand was caught by her, and he didn't struggle to pull it away; he just glared at her with his eyes.
Wufu then looked over, his eyes were amber and very bright. But his hair and face were covered in fur, all messy, leaving her unable to figure out what this creature was.
"Are you a human?" she asked.
