Wufu stayed with Madam Zhou at the estate for three days. Ever since she had revealed everything on the first day at the estate, she had not mentioned anything more about the Wu Family to Madam Zhou, knowing that excessive talk would be counterproductive.
As July 7th was approaching, Wufu had promised Changping that even if she wouldn't be a government official for her, she would attend her coming-of-age ceremony. Thus, she had to return to Changan City for the banquet, or else that little girl would nag her to death.
"Mother, I have a friend who's reaching her age of marriage on July 7th. I've promised to celebrate it with her, so I need to go back to the city first. Can you stay at the estate for a while?" Wufu said.
