In the eighth month, during the Mid-Autumn Festival, Wufu woke up feeling refreshed. As she was grooming, she received news that the Wu Family had agreed to her requests.
Wufu curled her lips with a smile and, once dressed, headed to Madam Zhou's courtyard.
Madam Zhou was enjoying bird's nest soup, with Nanny Cheng standing by and reporting on matters. Upon seeing Wufu, Nanny Cheng greeted her with a respectful bow.
"Nanny, today is a festival. Have the main kitchen add two extra dishes and a pot of wine, so everyone can enjoy. Also, distribute two pounds of pork and a box of mooncakes for everyone to take home for the festival. Those going back home can leave earlier, while those staying can receive some extra meat," Wufu instructed with a laugh. "But mind the fires; it's windy and dry lately."
