All around them, numerous other individuals hovered silently, waiting to be granted entrance as they were called, one after another, in an almost ceremonial order.
Below them, the battles of revenge and bloodshed that had been raging relentlessly for almost an hour had finally come to an end, leaving behind an eerie, heavy stillness that clung to the air like fog.
Within the building, constructed upon layers of softly glowing clouds where the grand gathering was meant to be held, various beings of numerous races stepped inside with quiet grace. No pre-made seats were available, though a wide area designated for sitting stretched across the space like a vast, divine terrace.
