Hearing Anthony's words, Aaaninja's lips twitched subtly, he could not help but ask himself where Anthony had learned to reply in such a confident and almost arrogant manner. It seemed as though every question he asked Anthony about anything at all, the boy would simply reply with something like, "because I am Null Anthony," as though that alone was a complete and sufficient answer that required no further elaboration or justification.
But at the same time, Aaaninja could not say Anthony's words were arrogant or condescending in any way, the boy possessed the power to back those words, and that was simply confidence in its purest and most undeniable form. Besides, he still remembered the battle between Lucian and Anthony vividly, the Lucian he himself had lost against, had in turn lost to Anthony without even inflicting a single injury or forcing him to take the fight seriously.
