Chapter 516 - Heist

The morning didn't break so much as it drifted in, a slow-motion tide of amber light that crawled across the tangled sheets of the cabin's master bedroom. Samantha lay pinned beneath a delicious weight, her senses slowly coming online. The air smelled of cooling embers from the hearth, cedarwood, and the distinct, intoxicating musk of three powerful males.

To her left, Marcus's arm was draped over her waist, his fingers twitching slightly as he dreamed—likely of ancient libraries or perhaps the way Samantha had arched her back beneath him a few hours ago. To her right, Kai was a furnace of heat, his face buried in the crook of her neck, his breath steady and warm. Behind her, Callum was a solid wall of protective dragon-kin, his chest pressed against her back, his heartbeat a slow, rhythmic thrum that she could feel in her own bones.
