Chapter 66 - Heartbeats

Chapter 66

Heartbeats

Zero wants to stop the fight, but he thinks he's unstoppable. If he rushes in, even if he doesn't die, he'll be seriously injured. He doesn't know how to deal with it yet. The police appear and blow their whistles to disperse the crowd. Sam and Dragon Claw are still frantically trying to destroy their enemy.

The law is despised. The man who has trampled on it also destroyed the forest and caused trouble at the police station.

This time, he's not causing trouble alone. The second one causing chaos is JK's monster, ranked third among the eight strongest people in the world. But for those who respect the law, no matter who commits the crime, they must be punished.

Captain Phuong Hoang demands that they stop. The monster doesn't listen. The two lunatics ignore the warning. She angrily pulls out her gun and fires into the air, shouting:

- You two are still resisting orders! I don't know where to put the next bullet! Stop it now!

The deafening gunshots can't stop the madness. The monsters don't stop. They are drunk with bloodlust, their blood boiling, hell-bent on killing their enemies.

Phuong Hoang gets so angry that her face turns red. She points the gun at the two monsters. Next to her stands Kim, the weathered cop exhaling smoke:

- Do you really want to shoot them?

Phuong Hoang presses her lips together and stares at the target:

- Can we stop monsters with human power?

Kim places his hand on Phuong Hoang's gun:

- Dragon Claw is violent but still rational. Sam has become a mad dog. A mad dog won't let go of its prey until it bites to kill. If you shoot it and it gets hurt, it'll only become more ferocious. - The thug police sighs - If you can't kill a mad dog, it must be locked up. And there's only one person who can catch it successfully…

Phuong Hoang hears Kim's calm tone. When he glances at Kai, she immediately guesses what her teammate means. The female officer smiles slightly:

- Tsk, every time I get angry, I forget everything.

Kim exhales smoke slowly:

- You forgot he's the top 1 server in the world of martial arts. You should give me back the captain position, my girl!

Phuong Hoang bursts out laughing at the joke and walks toward Kai. Zero is a step ahead of her, so she stops to see what he's going to do. Kim smokes lazily, listening as Zero says to Kai:

- Stop this pointless fight.

Kai fears his sister will jump into danger, so he hesitates and doesn't dare to act. But when he hears Zero say that, he understands that Zero wants him to watch Rose carefully. So the brother entrusts his sister to the most trustworthy person in the bodyguard team.

Kai also turns to the police for help. Kim nods in agreement. Zero is about to hug Rose's waist, but Rose immediately sends out sharp thorns to prevent him from touching her. The two look at Rose impatiently, then turn to the battle in the distance. Rose smiles bitterly and says to Kai:

- I don't want Sam to kill people.

Rose speaks briefly, urging Kai to act quickly. She's no longer mad for love. Strong emotions sharpen the thorns of the rose, turning her into an unpredictable being that oppresses the souls of men.

The guardian is about to fall into the abyss. Emotions go beyond the boundaries of friendship and sink deeper than family affection. These emotions extinguish the anger she once ignited. She hates Beak for groping her. She resents Dragon Claw for hitting Sam. But the rosy future is about to disappear. The rose no longer bears her sharp thorns but quietly exudes her fragrance.

Kai breathes a sigh of relief. The brother smiles at his sister, then moves to stop his younger brother. He jumps high, deliberately letting Dragon Claw know he's about to punch.

Dragon Claw understands, grabs Sam's legs firmly, bends down, and rushes straight toward Kai. Kai admires Dragon Claw — Sam beats the bodyguard until he's dizzy, but he still comes back to his senses in time.

Kai reaches forward with both hands, locking his younger brother. Sam punches Dragon Claw repeatedly. Realizing that Kai is in control, Sam turns his body into a whirlwind.

Kai expects this lock-breaking skill and turns in the opposite direction of Sam. The centrifugal force creates yin and yang poles, like two magnets repelling each other. The three are sent flying in three different directions.

Sam and Dragon Claw furiously scan the area for the enemy, and both sides rumble and attack. Everyone worries that Kai will fail, but Kim and Phuong Hoang still believe that only a monster of monsters can stop its kind.

Kai doesn't wait to land. He kicks the canteen pillar to launch himself toward Sam, then suddenly changes direction mid-attack to strike Dragon Claw.

The bodyguard thinks the elder brother is just trying to stop the younger one. Although he lets his guard down, he still manages to punch Kai in time. The punch bursts out with almost full force, and the whirlwind of pressure sweeps into Kai's face. Kai avoids direct combat, bending down to dodge the attack.

Dragon Claw is about to change his strike, but Kai is half a step faster, rotating his arms and locking onto Dragon Claw's hips. The bodyguard slams his elbow into Kai's back. Kai tightens his grip and tosses his body back in a half-round, inclined position, causing Dragon Claw to deviate from the pillar leg.

Even though the rival is two levels higher, Dragon Claw still can't believe he's missed his target for the first time in his life. The bodyguard is furious that Kai dares to use his opponent as a fulcrum to kick twice.

The first kick blocks Sam's terrifying punch. The second kick sends his younger brother flying. Kai turns around and circles behind Dragon Claw, his speed matching Sam's.

Dragon Claw roars and squeezes Kai's hands. He wants to pull them off, but he's powerless — Kai's hands sink into his body as if fused together.

The power increases violently instead of fading. Kai kicks Dragon Claw's knee joint, and the opponent crashes to the ground. Kai thrusts his finger into his temple. Dragon Claw screams in pain — the cloudy white beast eyes return to normal.

The bodyguards are stunned as the instructor bows his head and admits defeat. Dragon Claw, once invincible, is defeated after three hits. Until now, he's always beaten enemies in three hits.

In the chaos, Sam rushes forward, wanting to kill Dragon Claw. Kai still restrains the beast calmly, as if he already knows Rose is about to hug Sam tightly. The quiet brother smiles to himself, listening to his sister softly beg the one she loves.

- No more fighting!

Sam roars, refusing to let go. Rose fears that even if he's sentenced to death and dies tragically on a deserted island full of monsters, Sam will still try to break the enemy's neck. The rose can no longer conceal her feelings, nor does she want to hold them back. She bursts into sobs:

- You want me to cry over you for the rest of my life, you idiot?

Sam's mind wavers. Blue-gray veins and purple-red tendons crisscross his face. After a few seconds, they fade under the sulking words sweeter than a love confession. Madness nearly drags Sam into hell — but her words of love call his spirit back from the abyss.

Moments after waking up, his body stiffens as he stares at Rose. Their eyes lock without blinking for half a second. Rose gazes at him tenderly, mesmerized.

He's horrified — shocked to see the lioness not shy, but crying and choking. Sam stands frozen, stunned as he sees a pink heart appear in her eyes, brimming with tenderness.

The bodyguards are jealous of the lucky ones who get the delicious meat and sweet water. The police don't care about envy or love. The fight is over. No one dies in the chaos. A good result.

Kai entrusts Dragon Claw to Zero. The elder brother takes the initiative to clean up the mess with the police, occasionally glancing at his brother and sister, now closer than before.

He smiles at his sister as she bandages a wound. Then she places her hand on his brother's cheek. The rose gently rubs the swelling and asks softly:

- Are you in a lot of pain?

Sam is dumbfounded, not understanding what kind of animal has bitten this girl. She's three years older than him and has always made him call her "elder sister".

Now she suddenly acts strange, speaking to him like they're lovers. She even whispers in a voice so sweet it's intoxicating.

Goosebumps rise all over his body. The hair on the back of his neck stands up. He only wants to pull her hand away, but embarrassment deepens the red on the rose. She shyly bites her lip. That habit of biting her lip whenever she's flustered accidentally brushes against the scratch, and blood begins to seep out.

Sam is furious, staring at the tear on Rose's sleeve. His blood boils when he hears the girl sigh in pain. She gently touches the corner of her mouth. The guardian immediately grabs her other hand.

He suddenly leans closer to her lips to see the injury clearly, making Rose blush in confusion. The guardian transforms into a wrathful god once more. He doesn't see her red face—he only needs to know the color of the blood on her lips.

- You dog-born bastards! Daddy will bury you all alive!

Sam storms toward Beak to settle the score. An accomplice is bandaging Beak's jaw. The sharp-beaked guy shrinks back, trembling and holding his breath, waiting to die.

Fortunately, the victim manages to hug Sam in time and refuses to let go, even as he shouts that he wants to cut, wants to kill:

- Let me go, damn it! I have to bury them alive!

She tightens her embrace even more. Rose swallows her indignation to stop Sam:

- Just a small laceration…

Sam doesn't ask why her clothes are torn, why she's injured—he just snaps and blames the enemy. It's always been like that: whenever a family member is bullied, the guardian demands justice.

From beginning to end, he's angry because of her. He fights until his body is covered in bruises because of her. He bleeds for her. That kind of sentiment is benevolent righteousness—not yet love for him. But for a girl enamored with emotion, that fluttering feeling in her heart is... love. She shyly leans her head on her lover to hide her bright, joyful eyes.

He doesn't know that she bites her lip and smiles in embarrassment, nor does he realize that his shirt and shoulders are wet with the tears of someone crying for him. The idiot's warm words dye her peach cheeks red:

- Today it's a small laceration. Tomorrow it's a big one. And someday, it'll be a wound that can't heal! I have to stop misfortune from burying the people I cherish!

The female students are jealous of the rose, who now has an official owner. The newly graduated female teachers admire the bodyguard's affection for the flower, smiling softly as fate pins the rose onto the bodyguard's chest.

Rose's teacher is as happy as if it were a festival, her joyful demeanor conveying congratulations to the female student who has always given her the most headaches and brain-twists. The muddy, mischievous girl who had never known what shame was now blushes and hides like a shy maiden—more feminine than Hanna herself.

Rose hides behind Sam and sees her brother approaching with a smile. She awkwardly lets go of Sam, and he immediately rushes toward Beak—but Kai grabs his younger brother's shoulders tightly. Sam looks stern and says wearily to Kai and Rose:

- From that crazy girl to my elder brother—everyone's holding me back. Will you two let me muzzle the dogs?

Everyone laughs so hard their shoulders shake. Even the police chuckle. Sam doesn't understand what the hell is going on and pushes his brother in frustration. Kai exhales:

- Let's talk about it later!

Sam narrows his eyes and frowns, confused:

- Damn it, just say it out loud, why are you beating around the bush?

A few people laugh softly. Sam glares at them coldly, and they fall silent. Kai glances at his embarrassed sister. She lowers her head to hide her pursed lips, twists her fingers together, and mutters:

"This idiot, that idiot."

He scratches his forehead and tries to act normal as he speaks to Sam:

- After this case is over, I'll explain everything. If you still want to hold Beak accountable, I promise I'll help you get justice. OK?

Kai's voice is stronger than nails driven into a pillar. If the younger brother keeps being stubborn, the older brother will lose face. Sam temporarily suppresses his anger to save face for Kai.

Then the police summon all the relevant people. Phuong Hoang asks for the reason behind the fight. Sam lifts Beak by the collar and slaps him across the cheek:

- Damn it, open your eyes! Still pretending to be unconscious? Daddy will make you sleep forever and never wake up again, dog!

The police want to get to the bottom of things quickly, so they ignore Sam's rough handling. He grabs the sharp-beaked guy's suit and yanks it repeatedly. The bodyguard team wants the ridiculous drama to end, every one of them standing still, watching Beak tremble.

The sharp-beaked guy pretends to wake up and stares blankly at the police. Sam lets go and allows Beak to answer the interrogation.

Beak suffers a serious jaw injury and can't speak, so the police give him a pen and ask him to write everything down in the report minutes. Afraid of trouble with the law, Beak quickly confesses everything. The female police officer begins to read the charges:

- Sam and Dragon Claw disturb public order and damage property, so they are subject to administrative sanctions. Beak teases the female student, triggers a fight, and stabs Sam—committing the biggest offense. But since the injury isn't serious, he is fined five million. He, Sam, and Dragon Claw must compensate for the damage to the canteen…

Before Phuong Hoang finishes speaking, Sam interrupts impatiently:

- That dog guy must apologize to Rose before being punished!

The police force is tired of Sam's hot temper. Beak secretly curses Sam's family for eighteen generations. His eyes itch as he looks at the whore pretending to be embarrassed, lowering her head to hide her crimson face. Damn, a nympho slut in heat crazy for boys… still faking deer-like innocence… blood…

Beak only dares to curse in his head. He's afraid of being beaten. If he angers the dog-blooded young buffalo guy, even the police won't be able to stop it.

The guy with the liver growing in his mouth wears a bitter face, trying to apologize, but the pain makes him stutter and mumble, unable to express himself clearly.

Beak isn't sincere. Sam rolls his eyes and raises his fist to threaten him. Beak reflexively steps back. Everyone can't help laughing at the hostility, which feels like a comedy. Sam curses angrily:

- What are you muttering, cage… pussy-faced guy… dare to be rude to your father? Did you just apologize to the atmosphere?

Kai hums and reminds Sam that Beak is injured. Sam coldly looks at the white bandage wrapped around Beak's chin. The coward isn't pretending—he's really in pain. Sam mutters curses and has to "lower the level":

- Hurry up and bow your head respectfully. Apologize to her!

Beak's comrades show annoyed expressions at the excessive demands. They have nothing to do with the scandal, but none of them want the proud image of the bodyguard to be humiliated.

Every guy looks at Dragon Claw, waiting for the leader to give the green light so they can object. The leader of the bodyguard team is still dazed and unresponsive.

Nguy Hoang quietly slips away from the crowd, taps the number to call JK for advice, and his cautious nature reminds him in time:

"A bunch of busybodies still recording videos, taking photos, and live streaming from the beginning until now!"

Nguy Hoang is startled and looks around. A bunch of lemon, green-rice teenagers and vloggers film the scene with smug satisfaction. Even if these drama addicts don't suck fame by posting clips and photos online, JK still knows everything. The boss always plays fair and clear. The corporation's employees are wrong from beginning to end. The old guy is trying to please the relatives of his ex-lover, so it's no surprise that the model father defends the family.

Nguy Hoang imagines accidentally calling JK, and the boss doesn't reward his sharpness but scolds him until his face falls off. It would go something like this:

"You all slutty mothers, a bunch of stupid people. Touch anyone, don't touch—touch my nephew's girlfriend? It hasn't beaten all of you to death, him the blessing of your ancestors for three generations. Damn, the one who humiliated the corporation wasn't Sam, but a bunch of cow brains and dog brains who smeared ashes and rice husks on the face of the corporation. Now you're still sycophantic with me? If you're stupid, your mama dies, and you still ask me for help with lame pants, huh!"

The curse that sounds in his mind ends, and Nguy Hoang lifts the corner of his mouth and smiles, watching the dazed, messy-haired guy press the button to turn off the Halo—pressing so hard the button sinks into the machine.

He's frustrated and resentful because he can't earn any merits for the corporation, and the boss chews him out so severely that he's left feeling completely humiliated.

Nguy Hoang almost laughs out loud, seeing the other guy unable to hide his confusion. He thinks he's savoring sweet honey, but ends up tasting bitter fruit instead. The wise man guesses that the fame-hungry fool is sacrificed by the boss—just as vulgar, maybe even more than he imagined JK cursing him if he played stupid.

Nguy Hoang looks coldly at the bodyguards, who are as patient with Sam as people fasting on raw rice. Beak's face turns into a cockfighting rooster. He swallows repeatedly, trying to suppress the angry lump in his throat. He straightens up, then bows his head in front of the bitch belonging to that son of a bitch.

Rose is still angry that the pervert gropes her. But she's afraid that if she doesn't let Beak off, Sam's physical assault will be prosecuted, so she reluctantly spares him. The sharp-beaked guy keeps his posture, waiting for Sam's decision.

Kai worries that things have gone too far, and there's a risk of dragging each other to court. The one who would suffer most is his younger sister, so the brother cleverly says to Sam:

- Anh Dao is coming!

Anh Dao manages human resources at JK Corporation, so of course she has to correct the mistakes of her subordinates. She's not with his sister-in-law and niece. Lan and Suong are martial arts geniuses, but Sam still doesn't feel comfortable leaving his loved ones alone.

Who knows what perverted tricks the crowd—chronically addicted to girls—might play on them: take a few photos, or worse, record sensitive clips. He won't allow it. Sam quickly says to Beak:

- Daddy will let you go for now. If you do it again, the dog that gave birth to you will lose its breed![1]

He angrily turns to Dragon Claw, roaring every devilish scream:

- I wish you a long life of a hundred years!

Dragon Claw doesn't respond. Sam hands Rose to his brother, pushes aside the crowd, and speeds away. A policeman follows and watches Sam. Kim says the canteen owner has come to discuss compensation fees. Anh Dao and Kai agree that each party will pay half.

The new canteen owner seizes the opportunity to make money and shouts ten times the actual amount. Kai looks around and quickly counts the broken furniture:

- Let me see, a hundred tables are broken, fifty chairs are knocked over, pots, pans, bowls, and chopsticks are all shattered, food and drinks are crushed, and bottles, cups, glasses, teapots—broken to the last piece. The walls are peeling, the paint is stained and blotchy, hundreds of bricks are concave and shattered.

Many people are crazy about Kai's wealth, but he haggles over everything one by one, which leads to disappointment. When he searches the prices online, Kai's idol status officially collapses. The rich but stingy guy concludes:

– A total of more than 60 million odd.

Creditors and admirers stare with wide eyes as Kai makes a quick calculation on his Halo. The guy, rich yet stingy and filthy, shows the result to everyone:

- 64,789,302 coppers!

Kai glances at Anh Dao with a smile. She pretends to adjust her glasses to hide her amused grin. Kai isn't sure what she means, but he's sure she doesn't look down on him. Without looking, Kai knows there's scorn hidden in the crowd—they can't hide the faces that look down on "the inferior luxury billionaire." He replies with a faint smile: rude to the world, friendly to Anh Dao.

The blonde girl is surprised because the man-god raises an eyebrow. He squints, as if taking her earlier smile as an appreciation for his humor.

Faced with the situation of the world's richest man being mined[2], most people—who live and die to protect their pride—would rather waste money foolishly than lose face. They'd pick up their wallets and pay immediately, without bargaining. Kai calculates every penny, cherishes even half a silver coin, and is more stingy than the god who guards wealth.

- What's a lot of money for? But money isn't a banyan leaf. If you just sweep it with a broom, it'll fill up the house! - Kai clicks his tongue - We brothers can't print money to throw it out the window. - He half-smiles - I set a record for winning the audience's favorite actor and singer awards. But I don't want to play the role of an industrial chicken just to keep my image alive forever! My tiger and panther younger brother… never mind… needless to say, everyone knows the result…

The world's richest man refuses to burn money. Kai is still a public figure, but he curses the worldly people flat on their faces without sparing anyone. Kai mocks the canteen owner, turning him purple with rage. But the owner has no reason to refute, so he can't lose his temper with Kai—he just laughs it off and listens to Kai say:

- I'm paying the extra psychological and mental damage costs for you on behalf of my younger brother!

Phuong Hoang and Anh Dao cover their mouths to hold back laughter. The policewoman slightly purses her lips, and the blonde girl puts her hand on her nose.

The two girls look at the man who is greedy for money but also wants to save face. He makes an excuse, saying he's afraid Sam will cause trouble, and refuses:

- Only the furniture items will be compensated, no additional fees will be charged. I don't want Sam to ruin this store again!

Kai smiles as if to say, "Don't look down on my younger brother":

- He is not short-tempered and mean!

Ignoring the shop owner's clichéd politeness, Kai and Beak pass the surcharge and compensation to the canteen. After confirming the money in the account, the boss says goodbye. But in his heart, he vows never to see that bunch of uneducated and stingy people again.

After the police complete the settlement, they immediately take notes. Both parties sign a commitment stating they will be punished more severely if they commit the same offense again. Phuong Hoang says to his teammates:

- I want to go home with my big sister!

Phuong Hoang walks over to where the female teacher is talking to her students. The policewoman nods in response to Rose's greeting. She frowns and checks the tear on her sister's shoulder. Her sister isn't injured. She clutches her chest and asks what happened. Her sister smiles softly:

- The debris was flying and hit the students. Two of them fell down, I had to get them to safety!

The younger sister gently reminds her elder sister:

- You be careful next time—don't challenge danger again.

Kim is no stranger to clichés. Lately, it has become the default whenever older or younger sisters get into trouble. In the past, Phuong Hoang was easily impulsive whenever she got upset or the family suffered disadvantages.

These days, she is more amiable than before—except when serious matters force her to lose her temper. With other matters, she always gives up nine and does ten[3], letting things slide without making a fuss.

This time too, the tear on the shirt is smaller than a hair—not worth going crazy, demanding to be chopped, killed, or buried alive like that guy who is obsessed with his family.

She suddenly becomes easygoing. The crowd, obsessed with nitpicking, listens to simple reminders and finds the sisters more boring than boiled snail water—as if they weren't blood sisters. Shallow words… dry words… because she is like an inert emotional wall.

Before, the sisters are still annoyed by gossip about their unclean past, suspected of disregarding dignity, abandoning honor, burying their erotic bodies in dirty mud, letting whitening erase everything… and… becoming new people thanks to the high social status given by underground forces.

The block of life every day pours shame and sarcasm upon the girls, but cannot bury those deemed guilty… letting others find satisfying pleasure… laughing at their pain. Those knifeless murderers become tools for forging skills and training spirits, letting those drowned in the mire… humiliated… stand up strong like fire phoenixes revived from the ashes.

Today, the elder sister and the younger sister still talk calmly and gently, as if life has never experienced any storms. Kim laughs happily and watches the elder sister hit the younger sister's shoulder heavily and affectionately scolds her:

- This girl, you can't say that. The police's duty is to protect the people, and the teacher's duty is to protect the students. You don't neglect the people, I also can't ignore the students!

The younger sister keeps a straight face and listens to the classic song of professional ethics:

- Well, well, well… you started again!

Kim takes a puff of his cigarette and exhales the smoke:

- It's a younger sister's responsibility to protect her elder sister!

Kim is startled, realizing he has just caused the sisters to recall the pain of the past. He scratches his head in confusion, blaming himself for being careless like Sam.

Kim is known for having the most devious plans on the police force, but he can be incredibly absent-minded. Whenever he tries to be careful with his words, he lacks depth and accidentally hurts others. Phuong Hoang laughs because Kim looks like he has a feather stuck in his throat:

- Hey, stop looking so miserable. We sisters probably didn't notice it, but it's because of your guilty mood that we remember "it"!

Phuong Hoang and her sister look calm, and the girls tease the sensitive man with a chuckle:

- Did you see that we sisters are sad?

Her sister waves her hand as if to say: you should ease your fatigue. Kim smiles sadly and listens to Phuong Hoang charging him:

- Get rid of this habit, you're about to become a sentimental aunt. Oops!

Rose, like many others, has only known the surface of the shocking events of that year. The iceberg has remained a question mark that no one has been able to answer, because it has been deeply buried under layers of secrets by insiders. No one has lifted the veil of mystery.

Whether in the past or present, the student only knows how to feel the pain of the teacher's family. Rose cannot share it, because she fears that her words of comfort might accidentally awaken the past the teacher wants to sink and forget.

She turns to Kim silently. He quietly watches the two people close to him. Deep melancholy and sorrow etch into his brown eyes.

Although the teacher and sister joke, they do not dare to look directly at Kim. The sisters do not avoid sentimental people they tease, but lose the courage to face the pain of the past.

It seems that the pain not only torments them, but also becomes a chronic disease for all three. Kim sighs softly, forces a smile to lighten the atmosphere, then jokes in the opposite direction:

- It's your turn to start!

The girls chat and laugh and tease him. Kim bursts out laughing, and the sisters laugh hi hi ha ha:

- Well, isn't it cute like this?

- Why do you feel so sad that you get tired!

If he and his family continue the wordless tragedy, he fears he will really become a sentimental aunt. The police guy resumes his thug image and takes the initiative to shake hands with Kai, Rose, and Anh Dao instead of saying goodbye.

He passes Beak, and the sharp-beaked guy raises his hand. Kim ignores it and pretends not to see the other party's wooden expression. Kim smokes a cigarette, exhales the smoke, and leads the whole team back to the police station.

The crowd rushes in to hug Anh Dao, surrounds the man-god, asks for autographs, takes selfies, and films madly. The canteen fills with flashing lights nonstop. A bunch of boy-crazy fans ovulates the whole basket, puts their arms around his shoulders, hugs his neck, purses their beaks freshly painted with red lipstick, and kisses Kai's cheeks.

The man-god communicates enthusiastically. Anh Dao comfortably takes selfies and signs autographs for fanboys obsessed with the perfect beauty of Miss World.

A group of lustful people takes the opportunity to hug her waist. Anh Dao tries to be patient. But when touched, she immediately gets angry, and the greedy herd hurriedly stops the perverted game.

Halo Illusias shake in the fanboys' hands, and they are so scared that sweat drips down the backs of their shirts. Obscene faces turn pale all the way down to their necks, not daring to look at the goddess who has turned into an evil god before their eyes. They have just smelled the intoxicating fragrance of the flowers, and that sweet scent suddenly gives off a cold murderous aura.

Kai likes the way Anh Dao threatens the hateful people to the point of scaring them to death. A bunch of people who put the "girl" on their heads immediately trembles — she becomes the most charming flower in the world again.

Anh Dao suddenly feels an itch on the back of her neck, is surprised to see the polite male god peeking again. Kai laughs joyfully and is not ashamed of his lack of subtlety. The flower has been buried in the mud since youth, so she is very vigilant.

Obviously, she is being peeped at, and the other party does not hide it. She feels that the handsome guy… admires her — a flower in her twenties, but stronger than men.

The handsome guy shows his goodwill. The flower smiles in a friendly way. Although it is just the most basic courtesy, for those who love beauty, that smile is like a work of art — so beautiful that the heart skips a beat. The eyes know how to smile quietly… pity that the pink lips are no longer given to nostalgia.

Sometimes humans… have difficulty understanding their own feelings.

Note

[1] It means causing Beak's father to have no children or grandchildren.

[2] This word means digging money from rich people. It also applies to girls who date rich men not for love but for wealth.

[3] It means being willing to ignore and compromise with the opponent's mistakes instead of getting angry or placing blame.
