"Avoid it!"
Looking at the rocks floating in the air, Ash shouted immediately.
Upon hearing the command, Charizard flapped its wings and nimbly dodged to evade Rock Tomb's ferocious assault.
"Mega Punch!"
But at that moment, Giovanni's voice rang out simultaneously. While Charizard was occupied with avoiding the rocks, it had unknowingly moved closer to Rhydon's position.
After Rhydon heard the command, it suddenly launched itself from the Surf wave, using the water as a springboard to leap directly into the sky.

Charizard's attention had been focused on the rocks falling from above. By the time it reacted, Rhydon had already jumped up.
With a powerful punch incoming, Charizard's immediate reaction was to cross its arms in front of itself to block, but Rhydon's strength was tremendous and it directly knocked Charizard toward the ground.

Charizard fell from the air and slammed into the ground. Dust and smoke spread instantly. At the same time, the collapsing wave from before also rushed toward Charizard's position.

The water surged down and covered Charizard like a vast net, completely engulfing it.
That Mega Punch hadn't caused significant damage to Charizard, but Surf's follow-up attack dealt considerable damage to the Fire-type.

Giovanni's eyes flashed, and his hands, which had remained in his pockets throughout, finally emerged. He waved his hands with excitement and issued his command.
An excited smile appeared on his face, as if defeating the young trainer before him would bring unprecedented satisfaction.

The moment Giovanni gave the order, Rhydon roared, and then the spiral horn on its head suddenly began rotating wildly, producing a sound like an electric drill.
Rhydon charged forward instantly, and a blue spiral shockwave erupted around its body as it sprinted. Powerful energy condensed on the horn, which was spinning so fast its rotation was barely visible.
"This is bad! That's dangerous!" Gary said reflexively upon seeing this development.
Horn Drill was a Normal-type move, but regardless of the circumstances, if it connected, the consequences would be catastrophic.
Although this move's attack was very direct and thus had a low accuracy rate, with Charizard currently knocked to the ground, the opponent had seized this perfect opportunity to use it.
"Charizard!"

Charizard narrowly avoided the blow and flipped over to land on top of Rhydon. At this moment, Rhydon was still in its charging momentum. Charizard wrapped its arms around Rhydon from behind.

Charizard let out a powerful roar and dragged Rhydon's body directly into the air. Because this wasn't an outdoor gym, Charizard could only carry Rhydon up close to the ceiling.
Instead of spinning to build up momentum as usual, Charizard carried Rhydon backward and plummeted through the air.

Both combatants fell together. Charizard slammed Rhydon onto the ground. The devastating impact of the force caused the ground to instantly shatter. Rhydon's heavy body even created a deep crater in the floor.
"What?!" In that split second, Giovanni reacted with surprise flashing in his eyes.

Seeing this opportunity, Ash thrust his hand forward, his eyes also gleaming with intensity. Charizard looked down at the smoke below and suddenly released a roar.
"ROAR!"
Blazing flames burst forth from its entire body as it plunged directly toward the smoke below.
BANG! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
There was a massive explosion, and the smoke was dispersed by a powerful blast of air. Charizard was wreathed in flames, its fist striking Rhydon's back with tremendous force.
For several moments, continuous roars echoed throughout the arena as high-temperature flames erupted beneath Charizard's fist. The ground around the entire venue collapsed, and pillars of fire shot up with each roar.

The tremendous force struck the ceiling above. The ceiling was battered by pillars of fire, and simultaneously, some light fixtures couldn't withstand the pressure and burst one after another. The lights suddenly dimmed.
The power was overwhelming. Ash and Giovanni stood on opposite sides of the arena, instinctively raising their arms to shield themselves from the oncoming shockwave. The venue instantly became chaotic, and thick smoke covered the entire battlefield.
After a long moment, the smoke gradually dissipated, and Misty and Brock both looked toward the field nervously.
At this point, the entire center of the arena was darkened and visibility was somewhat impaired. However, some broken lights occasionally sparked, briefly illuminating the venue.
A distinctive flame tail appeared first before everyone's eyes. With the long tail swaying, the fire's glow was particularly noticeable in the dim arena.
"Charizard!" Ash called out immediately upon seeing this.
But Giovanni frowned slightly, then looked in front of Charizard. In the dark crater, Rhydon had fallen unconscious.
