Many familiar faces also came to the venue to wait for their match assignments to be completed, and soon the large screen began to display results.

Currently, the number of contestants was quite large, and there were four competition areas running simultaneously.

That meant there were four auxiliary venues outside the main venue. These four venues were Rock, Grass, Ice, and Water.

During the qualifying rounds, all contestants would be evenly distributed across the four venues, and then one-on-one matches would be held at these four locations.

According to the qualifier rules, three Pokemon would be used, so only one venue was needed per match.

Soon, the venue assignments were displayed one after another. Since everyone could see them on the big screen, they noticed that Green's first battle was assigned to the Ice venue.

Gary was assigned to the Grass field, Ritchie was at the Rock field, and Green was at the Ice field.

Soon, Ash's assignment also appeared. The venue for Ash's first match was the Water field.

Then came the opponent assignments, and soon the faces of Ash and his opponent appeared on the big screen. His opponent looked to be a man about the same age as Brock.

He wore a red headband on his forehead, had long green hair, and wore a pink top. He gave off an androgynous impression.

"Ash, your first match is at the Water venue, and you're in the third match at two o'clock in the afternoon. Don't be late!"

"Also, remember to register the Pokemon you'll use in advance!"

Nurse Joy looked at the screen and reminded him. There were two matches in the morning. After the morning matches finished, there would be a lunch break, and matches would resume at two o'clock.

So Ash's match time was the first match in the afternoon, meaning Ash had nothing to do during the morning.

However, Green and Ritchie's matches were in the morning, so Ash planned to watch their matches before deciding which Pokemon to use.

"Okay, I understand. I'll make sure to register my Pokemon before the lunch break ends." Ash responded, then left with Misty and the others.

Ritchie and Green's matches were both in the morning. Although they weren't in the same match, they were at different sub-venues, so if he went in person, he wouldn't be able to see both.

So he decided to watch through the live broadcast in the Pokemon Center. Although it was less exciting than watching in person, at least he could see both matches.

There were also many other Trainers gathered throughout the hall. It was obvious that no one wanted to miss the opportunity to gather information on their opponents.

Soon, the four screens filled with cheers from the audiences, and the matches were about to begin. The first match they wanted to watch was Green's.

Ritchie was in the second match at the Rock venue, so there was no need to switch back and forth between two screens.

Green's opponent was a man who looked to be in his twenties. From first impressions, the spectators watching the match and the Trainers who weren't competing thought Green's opponent had a higher chance of winning.

However, Ash and the others who knew Green well didn't think so. When the referee announced the start of the match, both sides threw their Poke Balls simultaneously.

The match was about to begin, but the result was jaw-dropping.

Green's first Pokemon was Wartortle. At the start of the match, it unexpectedly defeated her opponent's first Pokemon with almost no damage taken.

This opening surprised everyone. This girl turned out to be so powerful. Many people thought that Green's opponent had been confused by Green's beautiful appearance and young age.

But when the second Pokemon was sent out, although it performed much better than at the beginning, it was still defeated by Green's excellent commands and Wartortle's wonderful performance.

Wartortle went two-for-two, giving Green the advantage in the match. Her opponent could only send out his ace as a last resort.

Even after two victories, Wartortle was somewhat tired, but it was still able to face the opponent's last Pokemon with composure.

After all, it was the final Pokemon, and it was stronger than the previous two. This last battle was quite exciting, but what everyone didn't expect was...

Green's strength exceeded everyone's expectations, and her opponent failed to save face in the end. The last Pokemon was defeated by Green's Wartortle.

Using only one Pokemon, Green successfully achieved a one-versus-three sweep at the Indigo Plateau Conference.

The audience erupted with excitement. Green immediately gained a large number of fans and supporters, and the match ended very quickly.

"Green is so amazing!" Yellow, who was watching the match with Ash and the others, couldn't help but express her admiration.

Both were girls, but Green and Yellow had completely different personalities. Green was very cheerful and outgoing, decisive in her actions, and had no hesitation in battle.

However, Yellow had a more introverted and gentle personality. She was afraid of Pokemon getting hurt and sometimes held back in battles.

Things had gotten a little better after Ash's guidance, but in truth, she was very envious of girls who were as bold as Green.

"It's incredible! The Green player, participating in the League competition for the first time, defeated her opponent with an overwhelming advantage and successfully advanced to the next round!"

The announcer also sounded surprised. There were many competitors who participated for the first time and advanced, but not many had such an amazing performance in their first match.

Green left the stage to cheers from the audience, and Ash switched to watching Ritchie's match.

Although not as exceptional as Red from the games, Ritchie was also very strong. After Green, what people didn't expect was that another ten-year-old rookie Trainer participating in the League competition for the first time would shine.

In his first match, he used a Bug-type Pokemon to defeat his opponent's main Pokemon.

It could be said that it gave the audience too many surprises. No one expected there would be so many young dark horses in this League competition.

Ritchie's match ended, and the two matches Ash had been paying attention to in the morning were over. After paying some attention to the two Water field matches in the morning, Ash determined in his mind which Pokemon he would use.

Arriving at the registration desk, Ash registered the Pokemon he would battle with.

"Okay, registration is complete!" Nurse Joy helped complete the registration and returned the Pokedex to Ash.
