Chapter 33
"Thats not possible" vartr thought to herself as she gazed upon the sun explosion fading in the sky. [ he didn't make the sun truly detonate. He just made the mana inside of it to dosperse into surroundings. Sun exploding would have ended the world]
She blinked slowly. [ his control over his power is phenomenal. He is a monster that held back the end of the world with precision]
Anacard still on his butt. Terrified of the man that stood infront of him with a crazy smile—his red–cold eyes covered by his bangs.
The tension became fear— fear caused dead silence. Piercing through the silence was a voice of a woman who stood a little far behind from Anacard.
"Oh My.. what do we have here"
a voice so soft and mature was heard—but Anacard sat sill in shock. His eyes not diverting from lugh for even a second.
Hearing the soft voice. Hero Alexi who had been hiding behind a tree hurriedly out.
"Alexi? Why were you cowering behind a tree—And why is the pope like that.
"Mrs Aria. ITS ALL BECAUSE OF THAT MAN" said alexi. Pointing at lugh. His eyes in terror. His face flushed and him flustered.
"HE USED SOME SORT OF TRICK AND NOW POPE IS THIS WAY"
She remained calm before the flustered hero as she walked over. Crossing snake—struck Anacard, she stood in silence Infront of lugh.
Aria glared in his eyes. Before lifting her finger. She gently tapped him with her finger.
He fell backwards. Unconscious. Expression remained the same
The hero staggered. "No way!"
The pope froze in disbelief.
"Pope Anacard terrified of a man whos been unconscious this whole time" said Aria as she turned her head. "Where's elegance in that?"
Realization finally struck the pope that lugh was unconscious from the moment the sun detonated
A yellow mana outburst pierced through the silence. Aria narrowed her eyes at the hero
"that man has Disrespected the pope. And needs to be punished" said the hero as he rushed towards lughs unconscious body with his unsheated sword. Enveloped by mana.
As he closed the distance. A pillar made of iron emerged from the ruptured ground lifting a faint dust screen—hitting squarely in the abdomen of the hero knocking his sword away. He groaned in pain.
"W-hy.... Mrs Ari-a"
"Divine punishment? My foot! Do you actually believe you are in any position to direct punishment on others. Its truly disappointing that you turned out to be a coward. Unbecoming of a hero"
That was right about when riley and lisa had arrived running. With worried faces they ran towards lugh.
Lisa immediately chcked lughs condition.
Her eyes wide. Her mouth agape from shock
"His body is excessively bleeding."
Riley. worried.
"Wait. How can a pope do this"
"He was probably like that from the moment you guys escaped the Dungeon" said aria as she turned around
Looking upon her riley was shocked "its you!.. Aria DragonHart" Gaining his composure back he continued "There's no way he held his own against a pope with this body "
Aria chuckled before replying "you are his friend and you don't know what he's capable of—its a shame. He made sure the blood reached his vital organs without going through the veins that led to the injured parts. Thats why he was able to minimalise bleeding"
Riley gritted his teeth. All the while lisa tried to heal him.
Noticing her healing magic she turned around her eyes covered by her hair "I'll send an elixir. Then he wil make a good recovery—but im afraid not even a elixir can repair his source"
"Yeah, we know" said riley as he looked down in silence. His eyes drowning in sadness
Hearing riley. Aria grabbed unconscious alexi and the pope froze pope—dragged them away.
Lisa remained amazed by her beauty.
Her dark black hair made her remember the night sky–her bright Blue eyes reminded her of the moon shining through the night sky. Her long black skirt stretching beneath her knees. Her long sleeve top covering till her neck she was truly the elegant one. Both in her appearance and in behavior.
Amazed by the woman she asked riley
"Who is that woman. She knocked out the hero without any trouble" lisa hand lied on lugh as they continued healing
" why are you interested in her?" Asked riley
Lisa confused. Not knowing the reason why—remained silent.
Riley continued after a long sigh " its because her mana is familiar to you isn't it" her eyes shined as if he hit a mark. Noticing it Riley continued " that woman Aria DragonHart was the first person that lugh used VOKHANTZ On"
Lisa looked at riley..her eyes not blinking. Her expression frozen. As her past memories rushed in her mind.
"Lisa!" Rileys shout finally snapping her out
"Help me Carry him to the others. He need immediate medical attention" she put aside her question and helped him.
Vartr looked as they walked away. She had cloaked her presence the moment Aria appeared. Remaining unnoticed.
She gazed upon lugh. Smiled and vanished into darkness.

2 Days later
Lugh had been admitted to a hospital. He lied on a bed still without his conscious.
Riley sat beside him peeling apples.
Then, lugh slowly began to open his eyes.
"Rise and shine princess" taunted Riley as he noticed that lugh is awake
"Cut it out" replied lugh as he slowly began to get up.
He sat upright. "How long have i been out for" said Stroking his head
Riley
"2 days. Today is the second weekday"
"That isn't too bad" said lugh as he noticed a bouquet of red roses.
Riley
"It was Aria who brought. She came there after you fell unconscious. Aria also gave an elixir"
After he heard that she gave him an elixir. Lugh snapped and grabbed rileys collar.
"I'd rather die than to accept their courtesy. Its their way of hushing."
Riley Remained calm. "I dont care what you think if it means you can be saved. I'll do just that"
Lugh gritted his teeth and let's go of collar
"Yeah. I cant stop you. Sorry for that"
Riley smiled "Yeah I knew you would hated it" said riley as he opened a drawer of the table beside bed. And took out a bottle of elixir " thats why i stopped before they could give you the elixir—but if there was no other way to save you. I would have used it. No second guess"
Lugh
"I see"
Riley
"Our party has decide to enjoy. Since we got the highest score in dungeon exploration. We have already reserved a restaurant this weekend. We were only waiting for you. What do yiu say"
Lugh
"Thats fine, ill be up and walking in no time"
Riley
"Ah...i almost forgot. Aria also left this letter for you"
"Letter?" Asked lugh as he took the letter. He removed the seal. Opened the envelope. As he read through the letter his eyes narrowed.
