Just like the blue planet, Earth, Eretre consisted mostly of water bodies. Although its four continents were huge landmasses with some being roughly twice the size of Asia, Eretre was a planet at least twice the size of Earth so this wasn't a problem.
Due to the large size of the planet, each continent was quite far from the other. This was why the Oklo Dynasty had a hard time governing the planet even with the technological advancements of the modern era. In order to achieve efficiency, they set up regional governments within the continents.
Each government was loyal to the Dynasty and reported to them. They controlled the territories within the continents, known as city-states, and governed the people.
Outside of these city-states, there was still a large expanse of land in the continents. These lands were mostly barren or occupied by desolate beasts, with the latter being known as desolate beast domains.
