(General POV)
Lucas and Donny returned to their family/pack home, alongside them were 7 other guards who were also part of Donny's team, they drove to Pleasant Valley. They had bought a mansion their 4 months ago to cater for their needs.
"Have you contacted Elly or Kat yet?" Lucas asked Donny who was sitting beside the driver of their Hurse, infront was an SUV and behind another SUV, each containing 3 body guards inside.
"Already did boss, they both said they'd be back at home around 5 in the afternoon, should I call a family meeting?" Donny asked Lucas and looked at the rear view mirror, "Yeah, call everyone, we go visit this 'Helion Pack' together, this is pack business, everyone must be present." Lucas said cooly with a sigh.
"Oh come on Lake, lighten up, I mean that girl came to ask for a marriage and a pack merger, shouldn't you be hyped, she looked hot you know." Donny said with an amused smile.
"I guess, but why did she have to be so stuck up and entitled, i get she's an alpha but... *sigh* i really don't want to deal with this, by the way is Sam absolutely sure this, Joshua Family or Helion pack is the one Ms. Ayame is part of? I mean how does that work, her Aunt's the alpha of that pack, but she herself is also an alpha?" Lucas asked abit confused.
"Ah! Yeah about that, Ms. Ayame is the alpha of the Flashfire pack, her own pack inside the Helion Pack, they have what you'd call a symbiotic relationship since Ms. Ayame and her brother are really the Joshua family's alpha's niece and nephew, plus Sam discovered that Ms. Ayame and her brother are hybrids." Donny explained with a grin and looked at Lucas through the rear view mirror inside again.
"Wait they're hybrids? What kind?" Lucas asked abit flustered, 'If she is a hybrid that could explain why our hands caught fire and why my hellhound side was stirred when I held her wrist.' Lucas thought whilst he rubbed his chin.
"I think Sam himself would like to explain it to you in person, also said he had something else to discuss to so, I guess you'll just have to wait 'boss'." Donny said with a wink at Lucas.
*Sigh* "Fine, guess there's no harm in waiting s few hours, what's the time now?" Lucas asked with an amused smirk, Donny called him 'boss' when there where other people around that he they didn't know, and 'Lake' when they were alone or with trusted people around.
The driver of the Hurse was one of those trusted people, his name was Greg Norman, one of Donny's closest childhood friends, he was human for now, Donny had already exlained to him about what they were, and Greg asked if he'd stay human for a year longer before Lucas turned him, Lucas agreed, so even though Greg was human, he was already a future pack member in Lucas and Donny's eyes.
"We're here guys." Greg interrupted Lucas's thoughts, as they pulled up to a fenced off estate.

(General POV)
Katherine and her sister Elisabeth were sitted in the back of an SUV as they drove into the family estate, other cars were already parked in the parking spaces near the garage.
Kat and Elly got out and walked towards the mansion's front entrance, another car drove up towards the mansion when they were about to enter, causing the sisters to stop and look over at it.
A few seconds later a handsome man got out wearing a custom made black suit and tie, "Sam! When did you return from New York?" Elly who stood beside Kat asked with smile adorned kn her face.
" Hey Elly, Kat, it's great to see you guys, I got back this morning, sorry I didn't let you guys know, I was busy with a few things Lake asked me to do." Sam answered whilst hugging both emissaries, "Is it about the unexpected 'meeting' he had with the Flashfire packs alpha?" Kat asked as the trio turned and walked into the mansion.
"Hehe you mean the blind date that you and your sister set up, yeah it had something to do with that." Sam answered her with a grin, "Haha he must have been so surprised." Elly laughed with delight causing Kat to also giggle at imagining Lake's perplexed look.
"I heard the meeting was ... interesting. " Sam replied with a sigh, "You girls better explain your intentions clearly when we talk to him at dinner, Donny said he looked abit angry." Sam added .
"Oh stop worrying, that girl's a hybrid alpha, just like Lake, they probably already felt something about each other, after all, a fire kitsune and a hellhound's fire are almost identical, with the Hellhounds flames being more potent and dangerous." Elly said wisely with a nod, "They were born to be with eachother." Kat added with an amused smirk.
"Whatever you girls say, your his advisors, so he will heed your words, but you know it'll take more than that to convince him to try and merge our pack with theirs." Sam replied with a shrug and sigh.
"We know, that's why we already talked to Mrs. Joshua, Raika Ayame's aunt and current alpha of the Helion Pack, tonight's meeting with them will be a success, we guarantee it." Kat said with determination and certainty,
"Mrs. Joshua has already given her acknowledgement and approval, all we gotta do is get Lake and Raika to like each other, and the Inferno pack's influence and pull in Portland will reach a whole other level." Elly added with a smile as the trio went into the main hall of the mansion where they could hear the voices of the other members of their pack/family.

(MC POV)
I sat at the head of the table, to my left were, Mrs. Holden, Elly, Kat and Grace, to my right were seated Collin, Donny, Eddy and Sam.
We were currently having a meeting about what to expect when we left for the Joshua Family home later tonight, "So your saying Mrs. Joshua has already given her blessing for this union between her niece and Lake?" Mrs. Holden asked with a sceptical tone.
"Yes, this marriage and merger would benefit both us and them, uniting two of the strongest packs in this city in an unbreakable alliance that might last centuries." Elly said with a nod at Mrs. Holden.
"That sounds good and all but, why us? I mean there are other packs that have been here longer than us, plus Lake is a young alpha, wouldn't it be beneficial for them to tie their pack by marriage to an alpha from a pack or family that has more experience and influence?" Eddy asked, he was always thinking about how certain things could benefit or hurt our pack.
"It's because Lake is young that Mrs. Joshua chose him as Raika's mate, and the added bonus of him being a hybrid also added a little flare to it, but the biggest and most important reason is, because we are now one of the most dangerous and influential packs in this city, we popped up from out of nowhere and now, control the south east side of the city." Kat said with zeal.
"And also because we are not a part of the power struggle between the other packs and the communities that live in the center of Portland." Grace added for the first time since this meeting started, I didn't say anything, I let my family discuss to eachother, listening to the pros and cons of this arranged marriage/merger.
Ultimately the would be mine, but I didn't want to just decide anything without listening to what the reasons were for this sudden proposal, Sam had also told me that the Ayame siblings were wereKitsunes, a very rare breed of shapeshifters jusy like me, to say i was no tempted to make this marriage happen was an understatement.
"Plus we would boost our numbers inside the pack, also open up a few new business opportunities for us to do more and earn more." Collin added with a grin and looked at me, "And I also heard from Donny how Raika made Lake here alittle tongue tied." Collin teased and chuckled, making me turn to glare at Donny.
"So you were the one that let her in." My eyes narrowed at Donny, "Hey she threatened to rip my liver out if I didn't let her in to see you, plus she was hot, and I thought you might like the company." Donny defended himself whilst raising his hands in a 'I surrender' pose.
"Put it to a vote, than I'll decide where we go from there." I said, and everyone nodded, the votes were tallied, and 5 were for us to go through with it and three were for not to do it.
Mrs. Holden, Eddy and Donny where the ones that didn't want the packs to merge but after seeing the majority want to do it they accepted it without fuss.
"*Sigh* Guess we're gonna be discussing my marriage tonight, I hate you guys." I stated and shook my head as the girls cheered and high-fived each other while the guys just chuckled and looked at me.
"When it's your turn, I'm gonna laugh at you the entire night." I said looking at each and everyone of the guys, making them stop laughing and chuckling for a second before Donny asked "What do you mean our turn?"
"If I'm marrying by arrangement then two out of the four of you are as well." I added with a conniving smirk, making the four of them, Collin, Donny, Eddy and Sam look at me with wide eyes before changing their tune and start praising me for whatever that came to their minds.
It was a long hour before Greg walked in and told us, that the cars where ready for us to depart and head over to the Helion Pack.
