Although skeptical, Eiji decided to tell to the Duke on what was happening.

This time, the Viscount visibly panicked when Eiji was about to explain the whole situation.

It wasn't that he was unaware of the shady things the viscount had done, but there were a lot of things happening, from the kidnapping case to the magic core getting stolen and had the pirates near within the waters of the city!
And these incidents were just within this year, in these past few years, the Duke had to do a lot of things, but this day was different, he had a very important person currently coming, and this person had requested to come to one of his distant relatives!
And sadly for this situation, that distant relative, was this very viscount!
Duke Takamura Iruka looked at the old man at the side.
Seeing that the old man just waited for Eiji and the others and were not even acknowledging the viscount, he decided to have Eiji tell them what the situation was!

Eiji then recounted his encounter with Renji.
He told them, who he was, and how they had been friends in school.
He told them about how he found Renji's situation with his team very bizzare.
And then he told them when he and Renji finally met after finishing his mission and then told him what was happening with his life and his teammates.
"And just a few days ago, Renji's mother got a letter stating that Renji would be executed, but the date of the execution, and the delivery of the letter was three days late....
Renji's mother... Looked for help within the Warrior's Department, I was there to report Renji's Situation to the Vice Commander, and happened to find Renji's mother...
So I sped from the Capital to here,.... I was... Hoping that ...this would just be another farce of a noble acting up.. but....."
Eiji clenched his fist as he looked down.
"Like Eiji, I am Renji's Best friend, I found out about this situation when Mrs. Rena went to my house and was crying for help.. so I also sped up here!"
Newark also explained of how and why he was here after Eiji finished his.
He couldn't help but get upset at Renji and himself!
He was upset at Renji because, he felt that Renji didn't even mention any of his problems to him when they meet or exchange letters.
He didn't think of asking him for help when such a thing would've been an easy fixture with his family and now...
Newark was also mad at himself for not noticing any of Renji's problems or asking how he'd been...
But it couldn't be helped.. Renji had always been proactive and happy since way back at the school, and unless they spend time for a while, would that sadness leak out.
But they would only meet sometimes or maybe even on coincidence and would separate after a meal because of their missions! So they could only talk for a little while all these times and letters would just be short and precise about how their their strength are improving or how they had a fight with this and that, and couldn't really convey any emotions within them!
The Duke looked at the two young men in front of him.
He could see the sadness in their eyes and even the seething anger within them.
"Hmm.. I see the situation now..."
"Wai- wait! Sire!! They're lying! Don't believe them! I-If my son is such a scumbag, there would already be a lot of complaints about us bu-bu- but theres nothing!"
The Viscount hastily stood up as tried to appeal to the Duke.

Seeing this the Viscount started to sweat nervously, he knew if he didn't get out of this situation, what happens to him next would be very much like his son right now!

Then out of nowhere, he remembered the old man at the side.

Shouting, he ran and knelt in front of the old man.
The old man just looked at him. Meanwhile, from start to finish, young man beside him, helping the old man, remained smiling throughout the scene.
"Sire! Help me! It's- it's me! My family once helped your father! Sire! You have to believe in me!!!"
He knelt and clung on the old man's clothes desperately.
