(3rd Pov)
"Professor, I'm gonna do it." Oliver said confidently as the three people in the room looked at him, confused, "I'm gonna complete the pokedex, not just Kanto's, I'm gonna complete them all." Oliver said as Professor Oak smiled.
"You sure do dream big, Oliver, my boy. I hope you can complete your dream," Professor Oak said with a smile. "I know I'll do it," Oliver said with determination.
"That's an awesome dream, Oliver. I'm gonna become the champion someday," Ash said as he had stars in his eyes. This made Oliver nod his head, as Gary snickered.
"Hmph, I'll beat you both and become the champion," Gary said as he smiled. "As if," Both Ash and Oliver said at the same time. This led to the three boys starting to bicker amongst themselves.
Seeing three boys start to bicker among themselves, Professor Oak starts laughing. "Well, Boys, you'd best get going, it is time for you to start your journey's" Professor Oak said to the three boys, which snapped them out of their little argument.
"You're right, Professor Oak, I'll be leaving now. Thank you for everything," Oliver said as he shook Professor Oak's hand, and he then walked out of the lab to see his Mom and Dad waiting for him.
"What Pokémon did you get, Buddy?" Oliver's dad asked him as he looked at the pokeball in his hand, "I got this guy," Oliver said as he released the Pokémon from the pokeball.
As he opened the pokeball, a quadrupedal, mainly turquoise amphibian Pokémon with red eyes and a green bulb on its back, it was a Bulbasaur, but unlike most Bulbasaur, the bulb on its back had more of a deeper purple colour at the very top of the bulb. It was also double the size of a normal Bulbasaur.r
"Hello Bulbasaur, I'm Oliver, I'll be your trainer from now on, let's be best friends," Oliver said as he crouched down to the Bulbasaur and put his hand out as the Bulbasaur looked at him, a screen popped up in front of him.

Looking at the stats of his Bulbasaur, Oliver smiled with pure joy, 'Holy shit, Bulbasaur is busted. So many egg moves, some of them are from that one fan game.' Oliver thought as he looked at Bulbsaur.
"Bulba-Saur," The Bulbasaur said happily as it nuzzled its head against Oliver's hand, "Aww, he's so cute, you got lucky with this one, Oli, he's pretty unique too." Oliver's mom said as she looked at her son with his Pokémon.
"Mom, Dad, I'm gonna leave on my journey now," Oliver said as he returned Bulbasaur to his pokeball. His father nodded knowing that his son hjas been waiting for this moment for years.
"Ok, dear, just make sure you call when you get to Viridian City," Oliver's mom said as she looked worried, which led to his father holding her Hand.
"Yes Mom, I will. I'd better get going now, so I can make it tomorrow morning," Oliver said as he swapped backpacks with the one his father was holding, which had all the stuff he would need for his Pokémon adventure. He had asked his father to bring it with him to the lab.
"Alright, I'm heading out, Mom and Dad," Oliver said as he waved goodbye to his mom and dad, as he began walking towards the exit of the town. Suddenly he heard a honk from behind him.
Looking back, Oliver saw a red vehicle driving in his direction; he saw that Gary was sitting inside of it. "Really, Man, A vehicle," Oliver said out loud as Gary laughed at his words.
"Of course, ya snooze ya lose, Oli-Boy, with this vehicle, I'll be able to complete the gym circuit the fastest, Cya," Gary said as he drove off following the road. Seeing this, Oliver shook his head.
"Whatever, cheater," Oliver said as he continued walking out of town, as he heard another voice from behind him, "Hey, wait up, Oliver." He heard as he turned around, he was faced with Ash running in his direction with Pikachu on his shoulder.
"Oh, hey Ash," Oliver said as he waved at him. "Let's travel together," Ash said to Oliver, who nodded his head. "Sure, but I plan to spend the night in the forest," Oliver said as he continues walking out into the forest off of the path.
The two of them walked deeper into the forest. As they walked, they could see the setting sun off in the distance. It was already quite late due to the amount of time spent in the lab earlier today.
Walking around they saw a few Pidgey flying amongst the trees, there were a few spearows flying as well. "We should find a spot to set up camp for the night" Oliver said as he looked around the forested area. Every pokemon he looked at a status screen popped up showing off their information.
"Why do we need that?" Ash asked obliviously, causing Oliver to sigh. "So we can stay safe from wild Pokémon," Oliver said as he continued walking around the forest until a Pokémon appeared in front of him.
"A pidgey," Both Oliver and Ash said at the same time as they saw a pidgey standing in their path. Oliver got out his Bulbasaur pokeball as he looked at Ash, "It's mine," Oliver said with excitement.
He threw Bulbasaur out as his Bulbasaur came out of his Poké Ball. "Bulbasaur, it's time to battle, use Vine whip and wrap your vines around its body," Oliver commanded Bulbasaur, as the Bulbasaur shot out two long vine-like whips that wrapped around the unknowing Pidgey.
The pidgey tried to break out of the vines by pecking them, but it seemed to be useless. "Now, Bulbasaur Slam Pidgey into the ground," Oliver said as his Bulbasaur's vines brought the pidgey into the air, and then slammed it down into the ground.
After Bulbsaur slammed Pidgey into the ground, grass and some of the roots of trees came out of the ground, and some dust was also kicked up. When all the stuff came down, the Pidgey was seen to be knocked unconscious.
"Good job, Bulbasaur, it's time for us to get a new member and another Pokémon," Oliver said as he petted the top of Bulbasaurs' head before he threw one of the pokeballs.
The pokeball hit the top of the Pidgey's head, sucking it into the ball. The ball shook on the ground three times in quick succession. "Let's go, I caught Pidgey," Oliver said as he picked up the Poké Ball containing the Pokémon.

Hey guys, I hope you enjoyed the chapter. I decided that Oliver's Bulbasaur will be more unique than a normal one due to him using Lucky Encounter to obtain it.
I decided to give Bulbasaur a couple of egg moves from Pokerogue. The others are egg moves a Bulbasaur can have in either Scarlet and Violet, or Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
