On a test field somewhere in an undisclosed location, a rocket stood proudly on a platform. It was not the same rocket Bruno had witnessed in a warehouse just days ago. Instead, this rocket was designed for another purpose.
For over a decade, the German Reich had its own space program. But their purpose until now had been in support of military operations. Launching a global satellite network had been their only goal outside of a few unofficial deep space probes.
Bruno had early on consolidated the best scientists in the world in Germany and brokered research agreements with the Russian Empire and its already deep talent pool for a variety of projects and rocketry was one of them.
The world had only witnessed military projects such as a short and medium-range ballistic missiles, MLRS platforms, and rocket-assisted artillery shells.
