After running around and dodging Sakura's attempts to catch me, we finally stood in front of Temari, the Sunagakure ninjas, and Kakashi-sensei, who were all preparing for the mission. Everyone was discussing the strategy.
After Kankurou had woken up, he handed over the piece of cloth he had managed to rip from the attacker. Using it, Kakashi-sensei had sent Pakkun and the other ninja dogs out to track the scent. It was amusing to see how surprised Pakkun was when he saw me. Even Kankurou raised an eyebrow, but he quickly composed himself. Thanks to their tracking, we now had intel on where to go. Once Pakkun and the others returned with the intel, Kakashi immediately sent Pakkun to deliver the information to Team Guy, who would be arriving shortly., we were ready to set off. And now, here we stood, at the gates of Sunagakure.
But despite the mission at hand, I couldn't help but notice Sakura.
She was avoiding my gaze, still pouting from her failed chase. Honestly, I thought it was cute, but I wasn't about to tease her again.
Haruna Sakura
Favorability: 76 (Only One)
and seeing her favorability. I think thats enough for now as i have more girls to focus on thinking of this i decided to look at Temari favorability as we didn't have any much interaction it was quite good.
Temari
Favorability:59 (Status: Crush)
Well her favorability is self-explanatory its due to my charm being high even if its controlled. well in the past due to my charm reaching its max level after I turned 15 in this world, things had gotten... a little complicated. In the beginning, it was difficult to manage. Women would go wild during my time training with Ero-Senin, and honestly, I did make some progress with a few hard-to-reach targets, but it wasn't all that enjoyable.
[AN : All those hard to reach are now Yandere well we go into that when we come back to Naruto world again]
It may seem like a small difference between Charm: 99 and Charm: 100, but trust me, the effects were anything but subtle.
Before I came back to Konoha, I used my Perfect Control skill to suppress my charm. I also relied on my Illusion skill, which helped me maintain some semblance of normalcy. If I hadn't, it would've been impossible to move around in broad daylight—even with my face hidden.
But even with all that, sometimes it was hard to ignore how much attention I got. People would still stare, but at least now, I could control it.
While I was thinking all this, a figure appeared in my field of vision.
He was a very tall man, with two distinctive red markings on the right side of his face — the only visible part of his head, since the rest was covered by a turban-like headgear and a sheet hanging down the left side of his face, he wore the standard attire of a Suna-nin.
He was Baki a Jonin from Sunagakure,
So, it's happening this way, huh… sigh~
Baki's eyes scanned the group before he spoke, his voice carrying an undeniable weight. "Temari, the council has decided. No ninja from Sunagakure will be participating in this mission."
Temari's face twisted with frustration. "What do you mean? This is important — Gaara's life is at risk!"
Baki stood firm, but even he looked concern and then he looked at us . "It's an order from the council. If we send our shinobi to assist you, it'll leave Sunagakure vulnerable to attack. And if the matters regarding Kazekage sama become widespread, then there way no of knowing when other village will attack The village cannot afford to risk its personnel right now."
Kakashi-sensei did not said anything but just nod.
Temari's fists clenched, but before she could say anything more, a familiar voice rang out from above.
It was Old lady Chiyo.
The old woman's presence seemed to quiet the air around her as she landed gracefully in front of the group, her sharp gray eyes locking onto Baki's.
"I believe I can be of assistance here," Old lady Chiyo said, her voice steady and commanding.
Baki turned to face her. " Elder Chiyo, the council—"
"I'm retired," Old lady Chiyo interrupted smoothly. "The council no longer has control over me. If I choose to help, that is my decision. Not theirs."
Baki exhaled in relief, his shoulders slumping as he conceded,. "Fine. Do what you will"
Kakashi sensei agreed to her help as while saying "We would be grateful for your help"
Old Lady Chiyo replied with just an simple nod.
And now, we stood ready to leave at the gates of Sunagakure, the wind lightly brushing through the desert sand. The Sunagakure shinobi had already seen us off, and just as we were about to take our first steps, Baki spoke up.
"I will try to persuade the higher-ups," he said, his voice filled with concern.
Temari, standing beside him, gave him a firm nod. "We'll follow you from behind," she said, her voice resolute.
[AN: That's actually how Baki behaved and spoke in the anime. He was genuinely worried about Gaara, even if it meant going against the council.]

Third-Person POV
In the depths of the forest, a figure cloaked in dark, purple energy emerged from the shadows of a tree branch. She stood there for a moment, scanning the surroundings, before muttering to herself, "Just like my liege said, there is a presence here."
With a swift motion, she formed a series of hand seals, her fingers moving fluidly. The air around her seemed to ripple, and as she completed the final seal, she bound her target to that specific location, as instructed by her liege. The presence was now sealed, trapped in the place where her master had ordered it.
Once the task was completed, she glanced to her right. Several miles away, she saw Team Guy receiving intel from Pakkun.
She nodded to herself, satisfied with her work. This was Mito Uzumaki in her shadow soldier form, and she had just sealed Zetsu, as commanded. Zetsu was now ensnared in an illusion, unable to realize that while he thought he had moved away, he was still in the same spot, trapped in the illusion's grip.
And just as quickly as she had appeared, Mito Uzumaki vanished into the shadows once again, leaving no trace behind.
[Mito's image in her shadow form will be updated in an auxiliary chapter and in the comment section of this chapter . Let me know in the comments if you'd like a sneak peek of her appearance.]

MC POV
We were on our way to the intel location when I received word from Mito. She had completed her task.
I nodded, though no one was around to see it. Satisfaction settled in me as I realized that was one less problem to worry about. In the original timeline, I knew Zetsu would've overheard Pakkun delivering the intel to Team Guy, and that would've led him to inform the Akatsuki. Kisame, likely dispatched to stop us, would've caused a confrontation — and, eventually, Itachi and I would've crossed paths.
But now, that was all avoided. Zetsu was sealed and trapped in an illusion, unaware of what was going on.
With that taken care of, my plan would go perfectly.
While I was lost in thought, Sakura's voice broke through. "Are you okay, Naruto?" she asked, concern evident on her face.
I blinked, slightly taken aback, before flashing her a reassuring smile. "Yeah, I'm okay," I replied. Though, I was pretty sure I had made some weird face while thinking. Even Kakashi-sensei had glanced at me for a second, and I could feel Old Lady Chiyo watching me carefully, like some kind of realization was forming in her mind. Then, her gaze softened, and she looked at me with a hint of pity.
After a moment, Old Lady Chiyo spoke up. "Tell me, lad, are you also a Jinchūriki?"
Hearing the question i looked at Kakashi sensei but he just kept moving forward, face straight ahead, only looking at me out of the corner of his eye. Sakura's gaze intensified, her concern growing even more apparent.
I sighed inwardly, while I am not an normal Jinchuriki anymore . "Yes," I replied simply.
Old Lady Chiyo nodded thoughtfully.
"Don't worry, I have control over my emotions," I said, trying to ease the tension. "Right now, my focus is on one thing—saving my friend. Dattebayo!"
Old Lady Chiyo studied me for a moment before speaking. "So Gaara is your friend, even though he's from a different village?"
I nodded without hesitation. "Yeah. It doesn't matter what village he's from. He's my friend, and that's all that matters. He needs help right now, and I'm going to make sure he gets it."
Chiyo's expression softened, and she looked up at the sky as if contemplating something. After a long pause, she finally said, "You're an one good lad."
Kakashi-sensei's smile was barely noticeable, but it was there, tucked beneath his mask. And Sakura, looked at me gentle look and kind smile on her lips.
...
After a while of traveling, we got close enough to our destination. We stopped in our tracks to begin drafting our plans and waited for Team Guy to catch up.
Suddenly, a loud voice broke through the air:
"KAKAKAKAKASHSHIIIIIIIIIIIIII!"
We all turned toward the source of the shout and saw a man with bushy eyebrows and a bowl-like haircut running toward us, shouting Kakashi-sensei's name. It was none other than Might Guy, the energetic and overly enthusiastic Jonin from Konoha. His vibrant green jumpsuit, a symbol of his unyielding passion for youth, flapped behind him as he approached with his signature exuberance. His wide smile could almost rival his loud voice, and his posture was that of someone who'd just finished a marathon, but still had energy to burn.
Behind him, Rock Lee was right on his heels, a determined look on his face and a similar level of energy in his stride. His youthful excitement was infectious, and his orange jumpsuit seemed to reflect his personality—bold, bright, and ready to burst into action at any moment. His hair was styled with a distinct bowl cut, mirroring Guy's own, showing their close bond as student and teacher.
Next came Hyuga Neji, moving with a grace and confidence that could only come from the Byakugan. His hair, tied back in a simple style, flowed slightly in the wind as he walked, his white shirt and green pants carrying a subtle air of sophistication in contrast to the others. His stoic face remained unreadable, but his intense eyes scanned everything around him, his focus unwavering.
Seeing the arrival of Team Guy, Kakashi-sensei let out a tired sigh and muttered, "Damn, my life to know this person..."
Old Lady Chiyo, who had been observing the scene, shot both Kakashi-sensei and Guy-sensei curious looks, clearly confused by their exchange. She seemed to misinterpret the dynamic between the two and was about to comment, but Kakashi-sensei quickly tried to explain, just as Guy-sensei suddenly appeared right in front of him with a boisterous greeting.
"HOW HAVE YOU BEEN, KAKASHI, MY RIVALLLL!"
Kakashi-sensei rubbed the back of his head in exasperation. "Guy, you—" He sighed deeply. "Leave it. We have more pressing matters."
Guy-sensei's face remained unwaveringly cheerful, but he nodded seriously, sensing the tension in the air. His eyes then shifted to me.
"IS THAT YOU, NARUTO?!"
Rock Lee, who had been trailing behind, turned his gaze toward me and blinked,
"Naruto-kun is also here, huh?!"
Even Neji briefly glanced in my direction, and moved to side with shock on his face while Guy Sensei and Rock Lee just looked at me, and what followed was stillness and silence
"You guys! Why do you have to choose to just run all the way here !"
She panted heavily, clearly out of breath from running non-stop. Despite the exhaustion, her appearance only made her more captivating—sweat dripping from her brow, making her look even more striking. It was none other than Tenten.
Tenten was a kunoichi of Team Guy. Her presence was impossible to ignore—bold, sharp, and with an undeniable air of confidence. Her dark hair was tied into twin buns, framing her face and emphasizing the confident curve of her smile. Her eyes gleamed with determination, and the crimson and black of her outfit clung to her form, designed for both movement and attention. The cuts and wraps of her outfit accentuated every action she made. A sash cinched her waist, while thigh-high boots and the weapons at her side marked her as both a warrior and a woman of undeniable presence.
"Why aren't you guys saying anything?" Tenten asked, looking around at the group. Her gaze then settled on Sakura.
"Oh hey, Sakura! What happened here? Why is everyone standing so motionless?" She shot a curious glance at the rest of the group, her voice still light and playful.
"Etto—" Sakura hesitated, pointing toward me. Tenten turned toward where Sakura was pointing, but since Lee was standing in front of me, I wasn't immediately visible. However, she quickly noticed the distinct blonde hair poking out from behind him.
"Is that Naruto?" she asked, furrowing her brow slightly, trying to make sense of what was going on.
Without waiting for an answer, she pushed past Lee, who was standing still, and took a good look at me. As her eyes landed on me, she froze.
"!!!!!!"
