Chapter 2 - Corrupted.

"Take it," he whispered, his voice husky with desire. "Taste it. Let your true nature consume you."

I laughed again, a cold, cruel sound. "You think a single drop of your blood can awaken my corruption? You're no match for me, mortal."

But as I gazed into his eyes, I saw something there that gave me pause. A deep longing, a burning passion that seemed to match the fire that lay dormant within me.

Without thinking, I leaned in, my fangs bared. I tasted the drop of blood, and a rush of power surged through me. My corruption stirred, its dark tendrils spreading through my veins like wildfire.

Max's eyes lit up with triumph as he saw the change in me. "Yes," he whispered, his voice full of excitement. "Yes, Valeria. Embrace your true nature. Let me be the one to set you free."

And with that, everything changed. My cold heart began to beat, my senses came alive, and my corruption roared to life. I was no longer just a vampire - I was a force of nature, unstoppable and wild.

Max's eyes gleamed with joy as he wrapped his arms around me, pulling me close. "I knew it," he whispered, his voice full of wonder. "I knew you were meant to be mine."

But as I gazed into his eyes, I saw something there that gave me pause. A glimmer of fear, a hint of doubt. And in that moment, I knew that Max had no idea what he had unleashed.

As Max held me close, my corruption raging like a wildfire, our classmates' eyes widened in shock. They had been oblivious to the exchange, but now they sensed something was amiss.

One by one, they turned to stare at us, their eyes fixed on the spectacle. They could sense the change in me, the dark power that now coursed through my veins.

"Whoa, what's going on?" one of them whispered, her voice barely audible.

But instead of fleeing in terror, they remained frozen in place, their curiosity piqued. They had always suspected that I was different, that there was something mysterious about me. And now, they were determined to uncover the truth.

Max smiled, his eyes gleaming with triumph. "Valeria has finally awoken," he said, his voice low and husky.

The classroom was silent, the only sound my heavy breathing as I struggled to control my corruption. Our classmates' eyes were glued to us, their faces a mix of fascination and fear.

One of them, a quiet girl named Sophia, took a step forward. "What's happening to you?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Be quiet!" I yelled, my voice not very audible.

The classroom was transfixed, our classmates unable to tear their eyes away from the spectacle. They knew they should be afraid, but they were too intrigued, too curious about the secrets that were unfolding before them.

And so, they stayed, watching with bated breath as I embraced my dark destiny.
