Chapter 50 - Chapter 49: The Singularity’s Loop

"The world of knights is built on ideals. If you've seen as much as I have, you'd understand." Ryuga gave him a sideways glance.

"…This guy really knows me too well," Kiryu Sento thought to himself. "But why does his tone feel strangely familiar?"

Ryuga ignored his reaction. He took the W Ride Watch from Sougo, closed his eyes, and focused.

This device, forged in another timeline, still carried the unmistakable energy of its world. Ryuga quickly pinpointed the coordinates of its origin by tracing its temporal aura.

After a short pause, Ryuga stood up and tossed the W Ride Watch back to Sougo. "Is everyone ready?"

"Wait!" Banjou yelled, pulling Kiryu Sento forward just as Ryuga ran in through the door.

"All here? Good." Ryuga glanced around once, then waved his hand, opening a glowing time-space portal. Casually, he stepped through, with Ora walking beside him.

Sougo and the others followed quickly. They had become more or less used to Ryuga's ridiculous power—after all, no one forgets the sight of a hand materializing from thin air just to steal food off your plate.

As for Kiryu Sento, the scientist in him was fascinated by this time-space gate. If they weren't in such a rush, he would have insisted on analyzing it thoroughly.

But as he passed through the portal, he felt an eerie sense of familiarity. Of course he would—the energy was unmistakably that of his old nemesis, Evol.

If it weren't for Ryuga's overwhelming presence masking it, he would've noticed it immediately.

On the other side of the portal, they arrived near Tid's grotesque stronghold. Civilians were fleeing in every direction.

Sougo's group decided to split up. The Zi-O trio went to find the boy who had made a contract with the Demon God. Meanwhile, the Build duo headed directly to Tid's base. Their goal: alter the events of the movie timeline by rescuing the key figure—Shingo, Sougo's brother and the singularity point.

As for Ryuga and Ora? They had vanished the moment they arrived, leaving the rest to improvise.

At Tid's base, the Build duo were immediately swarmed by enemy grunts. They fought their way through in perfect sync—no need for extra words.

Meanwhile, Sougo's group identified the era where the Another Riders first intervened. They boarded their Time Mazine and leapt backward—to January 29, 2000, in this parallel world.

Sougo and Jiugadan arrived at the hospital where Sougo was born. It was the very day of his birth—and the day his brother, Shingo Hisanaga, vanished.

Shingo's disappearance stemmed from being taken to 2018 by the Another W and Another Den-O. As a singularity, Shingo remained unaffected by temporal changes—but that also made him a prime target for those looking to rewrite history.

Since he was taken before Sougo was born, Sougo wouldn't have recognized him in 2018. But Shingo pieced it together and willingly gave himself up a second time to protect his younger brother.

As Sougo and Jiugadan approached the hospital, they witnessed the moment when Another W first abducted Shingo. Jiugadan's contracted demon, Wind Taros, was fending off Another W.

But Another W used Shingo as a hostage, preventing them from acting. He then transformed Shingo into Another Den-O using a corrupted Ride Watch and escaped aboard the time train to 2018.

To clarify the time loop:

January 29, 2000 – Shingo Hisanaga is kidnapped by Another W and Another Den-O.Same day – Jiugadan is born.December 3, 2018 – Jiugadan makes a contract with Wind Taros and wishes to meet a Kamen Rider, summoning the spirits of Sougo and the others.Later in 2018 – Shingo escapes and meets 18-year-old Jiugadan, recognizes him as his brother, and sacrifices himself again to protect him.Back in 2000 – Sougo witnesses the abduction, confirming the loop. Another W converts Shingo into Another Den-O and escapes with him to 2018.

This completed the paradox: a closed loop that reinforced the timeline.

While Sougo and Jiugadan handled this, Gates and Tsukuyomi traveled to the ruins of Mount Kuuga.

This was where the belt of the ancient warrior Kuuga had been found—the birthplace of all Heisei Riders.

According to the timeline, January 30, 2000, marked the day Kuuga awakened. And Tid, the time thief, planned to seize that moment to become an alien version of Kuuga—erasing all Kamen Rider history and creating a world without heroes.

Gates tried to stop him but arrived seconds too late. Tid had already transformed into the alien Kuuga, bellowing, "The age of Riders ends today!"

This new form was unlike the other alien Riders. While most retained a humanoid shape, Another Kuuga was a grotesque, monstrous entity—part fly, part abomination.

Tsukuyomi, shocked, launched the Gundam-like Time Mazine to help, but it was quickly overwhelmed and disabled.

Luckily, Tid adhered to classic villain protocol: he didn't finish off his enemies. Instead, he flew off on insect-like wings to rendezvous with Another Den-O's time train.

As Sougo pursued the train, his Time Mazine was shot down. Tid boarded the train and escaped with Shingo.

With both Time Mazines heavily damaged, Sougo's group was stranded. Even Wind Taros and his allies couldn't help much.

Lacking a technician, Gates and Tsukuyomi spent hours performing emergency repairs. The machines could barely fly—but it was enough to attempt re-entry into the time stream and return to 2018.

Unfortunately, precise time travel requires pristine conditions. Their weakened Mazines veered off-course. Just as they were about to fall into an unknown era, a haunting flute melody echoed through space-time.

He was coming.

The real Den-O had finally arrived.

A magnificent time train—similar to the one used by Another Den-O but far more majestic—raced through the rift and caught up with them. It accelerated the damaged Time Mazines, stabilizing them and guiding them safely back to 2018.

At this same moment, the Build duo was just beginning to make their move…
