Chapter 65 - A Battle to Remember (1).

Richard slowly exhaled a puff of white.

It lingered on his lips for a moment before rising and fading into the air.

A few meters away from him, the Garmr stood in a crouching position, its wicked eyes fixed onto him.

In a land of everlasting suffering, only the most deranged and twisted of beings could survive.

The Garmr was a large abomination with four stocky legs and three heads.

Almost like a Cerberus. But uglier.

Richard had seen images of Cerberus's before. They were Hellhounds, creatures from a fiery Hell that guarded the gates of damnation.

Absolutely horrid fiends.

But they were nowhere as ugly and terrifying as this thing. The hide of the Cerberus was black as coal with runes of molten fire running through it.

The fur of this on the other hand was crimson red, like the color of blood, a stark contrast with the white snow on the ground, the pitch black cavernous walls, and its icy blue eyes.

The Garmr let out another eerie cooing sound.
