"This is how different we are, Cassius. We should never have crossed paths. Light and darkness have never been a combo. Just let me go, release me, I'm not bound to you," She said, balling her fists.
"You're mine, Rose... you're my mate. You're bound to me for all eternity," Cassius' voice suddenly snapped, he could be seen clenching his fists to control his anger.
He hated that he couldn't go to Rose at the moment; he hated that she pointed out how different their worlds were, and he hated that she had declared her will to separate from him.
"I'm never mating you, Cassius. Don't you understand? My blood is your death; it can never work out between us; after all, you don't love me, I don't either. You're just too possessive and dominant, you feel like everything that exists should bow and belong to you. It doesn't work that way, Cassius; just... go away, disappear." She removed her eyes from him, suddenly feeling a kind of pang from her words.
