Rose slowly stood from the floor and took a step back, her body feeling empty, and so did her heart.
Cassius still had his arm around Elowen, smiling at her.
"Come on, I asked them to prepare your room for you," Casius held her hand and led her into the castle, walking passed Rose.
"Oh, look! Cassius! It's a human!" Elowen's amber eyes glowed as she looked at Rose.
She immediately turned away from the direction Cassius was heading and went toward Rose on speed.
Before Rose could find a way to step back, Cassius appeared in front of her in lightning speed, stopping Elowen by placing a hand on her shoulder.
"Calm down, Elowen. She's not your concern, she's just my slave," He said in a calming tone.
Elowen's eyes stopped glowing, she took a step back but didn't remove her eyes from Rose.
"A human slave? Cassius, how did she get in our kingdom? How did she become your slave?" Elowen flipped her hair, her eyes narrowing at Rose.
