Rose slowly opened her eyes and yawned, her stomach rumbled loudly as hunger gnawed at her.
She stirred on Cassius's chest, her fingers gently scratching his skin.
The fire crackled gently in the fireplace, casting a soft light onto the dark room.
She looked up at his calm face, smiling, "You horny monster." She murmured.
She stared at the velvety curtains and saw the sun's soft rays seeping through the sides; the sun was almost setting. They had slept almost the whole day after exhausting themselves in bed.
Slowly, she rolled away from him and sat up in bed.
"Where are you going?" Cassius's drowsy voice asked behind her.
Rose pauses, turning to see his sleepy eyes staring at her.
She leaned down and kissed his lips, "My drowsy vampire king is fighting sleep." She murmured, smiling down at him.
"Stay," Cassius whispered, holding her hand.
Rose slowly shook her head, "I need the sun, Cassius. It's almost setting." She replied softly.
