Chapter 1372 - Messing with the Fangirl

The barrier flickered again.

Dwarven artillery thundered from the siege lines below. Thick shells slammed into the glowing dome, each impact forcing ripples across its surface like water struck by a hammer. Runes flared, dimmed, then flared again.

Orianna leaned back in her earthen seat, one leg crossed over the other, eyes fixed on the spectacle below.

"You people certainly know how to live," she murmured lightly.

The pink-haired, tatted baddie rested her body after the battle of Greyhaven while watching cannons chew at the barrier as smoke rolled across the plains. For someone like her, sitting comfortably on a hill and observing a siege like a curated event was a whole new experience.

As she was a career criminal, Orianna tended to stay away from conflicts of this scale. And as the Consortium used to work in the shadows until they started their beef with Alastair, she never got to see a spectacle that came even close to what she witnessed on this day.
