"Good girl," he purred.
Kaelira went red all at once. "Stop messing with me…!!" she muttered, turning her face away without much conviction.
"That is not messing with you!" Blossom chirped at once, tail wagging. "Master calling someone a good girl is big praise! Kaelira should be proud!"
Kaelira sent the dogkin a quick, helpless glance while the heat in her face only deepened. Clearly, being called a good girl by Quinlan had a 'slightly' different meaning to the two ladies.
Then, the elf cleared her throat as she looked at her feet and began grumbling. "Why are you here to begin with? Was it just to tease me? So cruel…"
Quinlan's hand slid from her hair. His fingers moved under her chin, and he lifted her head gently until she had no choice but to meet his eyes.
Upon witnessing the beyond gorgeous sight that was his tomboy lover with red cheeks, he couldn't help but breathe, "… Beautiful."
