Kudaze who was swept by the current of the river ended up in the far river side away from the side he jumps on.
"That wolf he didn't follow me here" He said as he caught up his breath.
He looks at his status windows and look at his low HP.
"What a worse luck of all... But at least I can swim on waters!" He tried to lighten himself.. to no avail.
"What I am gonna do!!! I dont have any potion! Matter of fact there's no recovery buttons in this shit!" He shouts as his voice echoed throughout the dense forest beside him.
"I can't use recovery and my HP is just 15 right now.. If I even get close to a goblin that is level 2 I'll be dead! Dead!!!" He shouts again.. it lasted in hours complaining to no one, he had regained his sanity and face reality.
"I can't just stay here.. it's probably more dangerous at night" he said as he follow up the river north, he thinks so.
The sun is setting and he doesn't know where he is heading to, he is tired and so he approached a tree and rest under it's roots.
"I will say.. it's quite comfy" he said as he close his eyes.
Suddenly, he heard a voice.
"The GATE has been opened! Everyone retreat!!!" A man's voice echoed as Kudaze woke up.
"Kudaze! Here hold my hand!" The man in a full plate armor that looks so extravagant said.
'Huh who is this?' Kudaze questioned himself.
"Captain the creatures from the other side is pouring in!" The woman said to the man who is talking to Kudaze.
"Okay! It's time to retreat, tell everyone to retreat at the fortress" The man ordered and pull the hands of Kudaze.
"Now it's your turn my friend" The man said with a light smile. As Kudaze realize that the tree he slept to is no longer around and it's nothing but a rock.
Suddenly, a creature so terrifying swept the man in front of Kudaze, it's face was covered in millions of spike, and the scream of other people echoed.
He look right and see a being, standing towards him.
His body is covered in darkness, he smiled.
"You failed" it said.
Suddenly Kudaze woke up.
His body was covered in sweat, the sun is on its dawn, and the birds are chirping.
"What the hell happened?" He questioned, but he himself doesn't know the answer.
'Why does it feel so real?' he thought.
He wipe off his sweat and treat that as something that is just a dream.
He jumps and enjoy himself the river.
While enjoying himself at the river he heard voices.
He suddenly goes out to river and wears his makeshift pants to avoid embarrassment he head where the voice is heading.
"Yeah this is quite a long commission but it pays good" The man in his mid twenties said.
He is wearing the leather armor set that the current Kudaze can't even imagine to have now.
"Well as long as you shut that mouth of yours, this will be a good one for us" The man that looks like in his mid thirties said.
He is wearing a hardened leather, but it has a mark on its right chest, a stallion.
"Hey don't be like that boss, we ain't no one's snitch" The man answered.
The man then look at him and said, "Then tell that to your "best friend" you freak!".
The man then laugh and look at the guy behind him.
"Hey that was just an accident!"
He walk side by side with a man wearing the same armor as him. The only difference is their hair color.
'That brown haired guys looks like the embodiment of extrovert, and that black haired guy is the perfect example of nonchalant' Kudaze thought.
Those three guys was trailing behind a horse carriage. They seem to be escorting or delivering something.
'Should I approach them?' Kudaze thinks as he doesn't want to be a suspicious person and be killed right on the spot.
But in the distance the escorts came in trouble.
"Wait are those? Wolfs!!!" The man who's yapping all the time shouts.
"All personnel be on alert! Protect the carriage! If that gets damage we're doomed!" The guys wearing the hardened leather said.
'Wolf.. usually they goes around level 2 to level 4, with my current HP.. I don't want to find out' Kudaze thought as he hide behind the trees.
"Alaza! You guard my back!" The man said giving orders to others.
"Captain they should be easy.. but.. there's too many" Alaza, the one who is constantly yapping said.
[Resilience]
The Captains body glows a yellow like aura around his body.
'What is that skill?' Kudaze ask himself as he watch them defeating five wolves.
The entire party consist of ten people, 4 of them in the front, one each side, three in the back and one on the carriage.
'Wow, even fifteen wolf is nothing to this guy's, especially those in the back, their captain' Kudaze thought as he observe them more.
"Hm? Wait something is coming" The captain said as he unsheath his sword once more.
[Dire Wolf]
"What the fuck is that thing doing here???" Alaza shouts as he looks around.
They are surrounded, by the dire wolves, around 4 of them.
"Wait up.. that many?"
'Even in game there usually just one or two around at the same place so this is rare, but if there's a summoner..' Kudaze thought.
'Even if there is a summoner.. this isn't like the game.. usually they just one, if you summoned another the other summoned will be cancelled..'
"Ugh! What the hell is happening!" The silent one said as he stab the wolf who's biting him.
"It doesn't work???"
[Provocation]
"HUH?? what is that skill?" Kudaze forgot he is trailing them and exposed his position.
"There's someone behind the woods!" Alaza shouts.
"Maybe it's a summoner! Get him!" The captain ordered.
The other guys and the captain hold of the dire wolves but it's still so dangerous to them these monsters are unkillable.
'Shit I gotta run or I'll be dead!' Kudaze run as hard as he can.
Can he escape?
