"Odysseus?" I asked as he nodded.
I knew who Odysseus is obviously. A man who structured the trojan horse and went to war against troy. and after winning, he went on a long journey to get home and see his wife.
"Hey Hey! Spare us the self monologue Musashi!" Dante said as I looked at her and wondered how she knew what I was thinking.
"I said Stop!" She shouted as she then seemed mad and then spoke up.
"You see, Odysseus was put in the eighth circle of hell, where the counselors of fraud are! He and his companion Diomedes were put there to be enshrouded by flames for their crimes of deceit and cunningness such as the trojan horse and stealing the Pallas Athena statue!" She explained as I then replied.
"So that's why he's wearing a mask.. We'd recognize him instantly and... to cover the burn scars." Thoughts began surrounding my mind, as suddenly I remembered something.
"Which circle are we in Dante?" I asked as she smirked.
"None!" She said cheerfully.
I'm gonna stab this kid.
"Then where are we?" I asked holding my anger.
"I said to stop monologuing yourself! And second, I put us in Purgatorio, Now we have to go down." She seemed more angry at the fact that I-
"I said stooooop!" She seemed very angry at me.
but wait... If Dante is Dante and Tsukasa is Virgil...
Who am i supposed to be?
"Eh? who you're supposed to be? Well.. I dunno." Dante said as I then grabber her by her cloak.
"Are you serious?" I was genuinely curious on who I'm supposed to be depicting in divine comedy.
We began walking towards Inferno to go back to the eighth circle.
"Hey Musashi." Tsukasa looked at me and then spoke.
"What is it?" I asked as he replied.
"What do you think of Dante?" He asked as I quickly responded.
"Annoying."
as we continued walking, we suddenly made a stop for rest.
"Let's stop here." Dante suggested as we then all sat down.
"Hey Dante I have to ask, why are you a..." Before i could ask my question Dante responded.
"A girl? Well to put it simply, I took over the body of this girl hehe... Why though? Because she's similar to how I looked like because well.. Surprise! I was actually born a female!" She said as I then looked at her.
Great The writer of divine comedy probably was writing it to ship herself with Virgil.
"Hey, You know I can hear your thoughts because we are inside my creation!" She said to me as she then lunged at me while blushing.
"Get this gremlin off of me!" I said as She then began snapping at me.
"I did not!" She slapped me. "Write it!" Another slap. "To Ship myself with Virgil!" And that's another slap.
She then let go of me and sat down back to her seat.
"Okay okay! fine." I said as I then looked at Tsukasa who seemed to be watching us and the surroundings.
"Hmm?" I looked at the direction where he was looking and there I saw something.
It was eerie but I remember it certainly.
The mask.
Whatever that was, It was Odysseus.
I quickly noticed his movement so I instinctively lunged at Dante covering her up as I felt a strong sense of pain as something hit me on my right side of my body.
I let out a shout of pain as I then stood up a bit looking at my injury.
I look for Odysseus as he was suddenly gone.
Suddenly a sting of pain sharp as if a knife cut through me and went straight to my heart.
"We need some bandages!" Dante said as she hurriedly took off her cloak and then applied pressure on my wound.
"D-Dante...!" I quickly push her away as I noticed Odysseus who was right behind her.
The moment i pushed her I parried the attack with my sword as I felt more pain.
I started to stand up looking at Odysseus.
"You thought I was gonna go down that way? I'm Miyamoto Musashi! Come at me Odysseus! I will be the one to end you out of your misery!" I said as he then suddenly disappeared and then once i blinked I felt something stabbing me.
I smirked as I then grabbed Odysseus's blade like hands.
"Hahaha.... Ahahahahahahahaha!!" I seemed like a mad man then, with my free hand I grabbed Odysseus's mask.
There he was, Odysseus with those burn marks.
This was the man pursuing us.
"You..." He spoke as he then thrusted his blade further inside.
I coughed blood as I then smirked.
"You know... I killed you." I said as Odysseus's eyes widened I signaled for Tsukasa to end him.
Before he could react Tsukasa who had grabbed one of my swords used it to decapitate Odysseus's head.
His last words were.
"Penelope... I'm coming..." As he died.
"Yeah right just go back to your circle of hell." Dante said as I then fell Unconscious.
Ah crap... I've died haven't I?
