Chapter 412 - Chapter 413 : Might Guy!!

Looking at the video on the light screen showing Kakashi wearing the Hokage hat, the Fourth Hokage, Minato, was overjoyed.

No matter how many frustrating or infuriating things were revealed in the video, seeing Kakashi become the Sixth Hokage still filled him with deep satisfaction.

"All I can say is—he truly is my student."

Minato let out a light chuckle, then turned around, ready to leave.

The video was already finished. Why stay in the office any longer?

"I've been gone so long… Kushina must be losing her patience by now."

Just imagining Kushina's angry expression made Minato break out in a cold sweat.

"I hope she won't blame me. I really didn't have a choice this time."

Wiping the sweat from his forehead, Minato walked to the door of the office.

Just as he reached out to open the door, he suddenly sensed something off.

He quickly turned his head.

The light screen hadn't disappeared along with the end of the video.

Instead, another figure appeared—a man in a green bodysuit, with a mushroom-cut hairstyle and thick, bold eyebrows.

"That's… Guy?"

[If you ask who the most comical and energetic taijutsu user in the world of Naruto is, it would definitely be the man recognized by Madara himself as the strongest—Might Guy.]

[As one of Konoha's "Three Fools," Guy was older than both Naruto and Lee, but his "youth" burned the brightest. There was even a legend that went like this: "First came Guy, then the Queen, then the Sky, followed by the Eight Gates of Ninjutsu, and finally, the God.."]

"What the hell kind of ridiculous legend is that? That's seriously messed up."

Second Hokage timeline.

Among the characters being reviewed this time, Six Paths Madara was especially interested.

In Kakashi's light screen video, he had seen Might Guy open all Eight Inner Gates—and the sheer power he displayed was overwhelming.

Even Madara, having already become the Ten-Tails' jinchūriki, had half his body shattered by Guy's Night Guy.

And let's not forget—the Madara that Night Guy kicked was the real deal: a full-powered Ten-Tails jinchūriki. Not some weakened version like himself and Hashirama had once been.

If he had taken that kick himself, it would've ended even worse than what the video showed. He might've even died on the spot.

Of course, the odds of being instantly killed were slim. But getting more than half of his body blasted apart was practically guaranteed.

So yes, he acknowledged that Guy was a powerful man—but he absolutely refused to accept that absurd line from the legend.

"Come on, Madara, don't get so worked up. You know how those light screen videos are—they always exaggerate stuff. Some things are just blown way out of proportion."

Unlike the agitated Madara, Six Paths Hashirama remained calm and composed.

"Hmph, of course I know that. Still, it pisses me off."

"How about this—once the video's done, why don't we have a match?"

Madara froze for a second when he heard that. Then his eyes lit up with excitement and he quickly agreed.

"Perfect. I've been waiting for a real match with you. You better prepare yourself—I might accidentally kill you."

Looking at the wickedly smug Madara, Hashirama scratched his head and said, "I was talking about a peeing contest. You know, see who can pee farther. Why are you so fired up?"

"Damn you, Hashirama, you bastard! I'm gonna choke you to death!"

Sage of Six Paths Madara had both hands wrapped tightly around Hashirama's neck, violently shaking him back and forth. Hashirama was foaming at the mouth from the rough treatment.

Off to the side, Tobirama Senju and Izuna Uchiha both clutched their heads at the sight, muttering to themselves, "These two are such childish idiots."

[Guy first appeared during the Chūnin Exams.]

[Tight jumpsuit, thick eyebrows, bizarre style—though clearly past his youth, he never stopped talking about it.]

[Back then, many people thought he was just a comic relief character thrown in to lighten the mood. But no one expected that this overly passionate man would, through sheer force of will, create a legendary reputation in the shinobi world—one where even the strongest foes feared to face him head-on.]

[Because of that jumpsuit, many thought Guy was actually Little Lee's father. That outfit also made him Konoha's original viral marketing influencer—whenever he met someone he admired, he'd try to sell it to them like crazy.]

[Lee, Naruto, and even Sai weren't spared from his… fashion evangelism.]

[Despite how unreliable he seemed, his presence helped ease the heavy, oppressive atmosphere of early Naruto.]

"Hahaha, Guy really is such a vibrant person."

In the Fourth Hokage timeline, Minato watched the video of Might Guy on the glowing screen and smiled gently.

At this time, Guy hadn't become a jōnin yet — he was still just an ordinary chūnin.

But his constant and intense training, while troublesome to those around him, eventually caught Minato's attention.

This taijutsu-only ninja had something different about him.

Of course, if not for Might Duy's explosive performance during the battle against the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, Minato, like most people, would've thought that becoming a regular jōnin was Guy's ceiling.

It couldn't be helped — Guy's shortcomings were too glaring.

Ninety-nine percent of his strength came purely from taijutsu.

As long as his enemy had the right strategy, Guy's one-dimensional style made him easy to counter.

But after the Might Duy incident, people began raising their expectations for Guy. They believed that, thanks to the explosive power of the Eight Gates, he could reach the level of an elite jōnin. If all Eight Gates were opened, he might even match the strength of a Kage.

Then came the light screen video — and with it, Minato saw just how terrifying Guy's power truly was when all Eight Gates were opened.

With a single kick, he obliterated half of Uchiha Madara's body — a being who had long since transcended humanity.

Even though it was just one strike, it was undoubtedly the pinnacle of what a ninja could achieve.

"Looks like Guy's financial situation is a bit rough lately. Starting tomorrow, I'll assign him some quick, lower-time tasks."

Giving him money directly wasn't an option. Not only would Guy's pride be hurt, but it would also leave a bad impression on others.

But giving him easier missions? That was well within the rules.

Even if others found out, they'd just assume the Hokage appreciated Guy's talents.

No one would complain too much about that.

[That skintight bodysuit Uncle Thick Brows wears really is... something else.]

In the fifth hokage timeline, Naruto let out a sigh.

That green skintight outfit was, in terms of practicality, honestly not bad—it was breathable, stretchy, and surprisingly comfortable to wear.

But the appearance of that outfit… yeah, that was another matter entirely.

Back when he was young and naive, he'd let Guy talk him into wearing it for a while. Looking back now, Naruto felt so embarrassed he could probably dig out a whole apartment with just his toes.

[As a Konoha elite jonin, Guy's strength was beyond question. He could go toe-to-toe with Kakashi, who was already a master, and even forced Itachi and Kisame to retreat with nothing but the aura of his "Blue Beast."]

[Some believed Itachi was just putting on an act, but people forget—Itachi had already heard of the "Three Treasures of Survivors" from his former comrade Jūzō Biwa, and his evaluation of Guy was as deep as the sea. He was not someone to be underestimated.]

[But what people praised most about Guy wasn't his god-slaying strength—it was the unwavering hard work and spirit hidden beneath that power, something far beyond what most could ever reach.]
