Medusa is one of the three snake-haired gorgon sisters in Greek mythology.
Among the three sisters, only Medusa was mortal, while her elder sisters Sthenno and Euriali possessed demon bodies.
It is said that Medusa was once a beautiful maiden. At the height of her arrogance, even though the Sea God Poseidon loved her, she proclaimed herself even more beautiful than the Goddess Athena within Athena's temple. Infuriated, Athena cast a spell that turned Medusa's luscious locks into venomous snakes, transforming the beauty into a monster.
Even more terrifyingly, Medusa's eyes emitted a horrifying glow; anyone who dared to even glance at her face would immediately turn into a lifeless stone.
But almost immediately, everyone frowned.
"That's not right. Medusa belongs to Western mythology. How could she end up here in Huaxia Country?"
